Great family run hotel, very comfortable room, a pleasant 15 minute walk along the river to The Cathedral and High Street. The food is excellent and there is a good choice if you are on a budget. Rooms need more power sockets (ask or take an adapter with you) but other than that has everything that you need is provided....

I attended a friends wedding at the Westlands Hotel and the staff there did the happy couple proud. The hotel itself is incredibly comfortable and the proprietor Eve, her husband Shannon and daughter Jodie were perfect hosts for the event and made everyone feel equally as important as the next. We struggled to get a taxi in the small hours...

The ambience is excellent, the food superb and the staff are wonderful. Excellent for special occasions and any ‘get togethers’. They also have lovely bedrooms at keen prices. I can always recommend the Westlands to anybody

Everyone we met during this time was welcoming above and beyond any expectation we could have had, right from day one. We were made to feel totally at home and could not recommend any hotel more. Without exaggeration, it is...

Eve and her team looked after us during our stay for the Ryder cup and were exceptional hosts. Breakfast was at a time to suit us, the chef stayed late so that he could cook for us when we got back late and there was always a friendly face in the bar to chat and hear about our day, from...

Probably the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at. We stayed here for the Ryder Cup and from the date we booked (for eight of us) some 15 months in advance to the day we left everything that could be done to help us and enhance our enjoyment of the event was done. When my wife contracted pneumonia towards the...

My family and I recently stayed at the Westlands for 9 nights and we have nothing bad to say! The family who owns the hotel and all the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Full breakfast in the morning that was made fresh to order and the restaurant has many delicious dishes for lunch or dinner. Has a cute bar...
