Great location. Room could have been cleaner. Carpet was not vacuumed; what was on the carpet when I arrived was there when I left. Don't like the wood floors in the sink, john, and shower areas. Moldy. Should be changed to tile. Wonder furniture yet two plastic picnic chairs were the only seating. Ruined the whole look of the room.

We have been staying @ the Ashley House since it opened 5 or 6 years ago. Our stay in 2011 found the place in need of some paint and sprucing up. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the place was recently painted and looking brand new again. Our recent stay was obnoxious. We stayed in the "Alicia Room". We...

After our stay last year, I recommended that the management purchase a sturdy shower bench for use in the wheelchair accessible Jade Room. However, when we arrived there was no bench, and they expected us to use a plastic folding chair with metal legs. (Think--a wheelchair user transferring to an un-sturdy chair with metal legs on a wet tiled surface...)....

Located above Aldo's Bakery on Weldon's Way in Block Island, the room we stayed in was nice and clean. It is in a quiet location and the room has air conditioning! You check it at the Harborside Inn in Old Harbor where you can leave your bags in the back room until check in time if you get there early...

First time to Block Island, booked room on the midweek package. Excellent location, right in center of town. AC worked great. Free bagel/pastry and ice coffee at bakery downstairs. Only stairs so think of that when you pack. We had Maria room, added a blow up mattress and fit perfectly. Large bathroom. Only negative, no where to put wet bathing...

We stayed in the Ashley House for a long weekend in June. It was lovely! It is above a restaurant which was not a problem. We were traveling with an 11 and 12 year old and they gave us a queen blow up mattress that was very comfortable. The room had A/C, which we needed. It was quiet but near...

We were shocked that there was no lobby and no service even though the room was $325 a night. They give you a $3 credit for breakfast at the Aldo Bakery. It didn't even cover a muffin and a cup of coffee. Very petty. I was disappointed with how little value you got for the price.

We stayed in the "Anna" room at the Ashley Hotel. The room was clean and conveniently located one block from the Ferry landing and all the shops and restaurants. The breakfast downstairs at Aldo's was good and we also rented bikes at Aldo's. We enjoyed our 2 nights and the room was large and fit the double aero mattress they...

For the price, Ashley House was fine. The bed was rumpled when we got there and apparently that is the way it was made every day..a tissue and old pretzel was lying on the floor at the foot of our bed and was still there when we left. Worst part was conversation from Aldo's bakery woke us every morning at...

We recently stayed at the Ashley house in Block Island. It's brand new, nicely decorated and centrally located. On the second floor, above Aldo's Bakery, the hallways could have been a little more well lit at night and the other guests could have been quiter when they arrived from their evening activities at 4:00 a.m. On the whole, it was...
