We chose this place as a stop between Milan and Croatia. I'm glad that we stayed here instead of Trieste because it's a beautiful seaside town just outside the city (by car), and there're many walking trials to walk our dog. The garni itself is lovely and clean with fragrance. The owner looks after it very well, and also her...

We chose this hotel because of it's location, close to Slovenia and it's size. Traffic near the coast can be terrible and we wanted a quiet place. We discovered the little town has a secret treasure. The Castle. Our room was basic and very clean. The shared bath was extra clean and having a tub was a treat. Breakfast was...

We really enjoyed our stay at Albergo Garni Aurora. It is a cosy house, nicely decorated, with very friendly and helpful staff and owner. We had booked a "continental breakfast" and were surprised to be offered more than the usual set: there were cereals, varying local specialities, and fruits; the latter were provided all-day. We got a key for the...

We spent a really great weekend here, Duino itself might be quite small but is a very relaxing area to go to. Albergo Garnì Aurora is wonderful and Andrea Furlani the Proprietor could not be more helpful. The room was perfect, great bed and very clean, the bathroom was spotless and breakfast was a feast to put some 4 star...

I chose this place because of the great reviews it had got. We were supposed to go to Grado initially. I can´t say much about the rooms cause we endend up paying the first night but left without staying there. I don´t like to give bad reviews, but I have never been so badly treaten, ever. We were supposed to...

Ultimately disappointed by the proprietor who was mean, officious and unnecessarily rude - though occasionally superficially chatty when it suited her. Selling points such as beautiful garden and complimentary fruit are misleading. In fact we weren't offered any fruit and the owner dislikes guests using the garden unless they pay extra for breakfast that are already at or beyond London...
