We stayed in a one bed basic ground storey apartment on a tui half board basis.
There were no surprises and as other reviews the kitchenette is too basic for full self catering. The half board was good value with above average food & service in...More
Have been to Lindos View previously a few years ago with my wife and youngest daughter and thought it was fantastic then. This time the whole family came. I just can't fault anything and think it was the perfect holiday especially at the time of...More
Can’t really fault this hotel. The Thomas Cook pictures really didn’t do it justice at all! On arrival it was great to be really pleasantly surprised. Easy to get into Lindos town down the hill, though it’s quite a trek back up! This didn’t bother...More

Duplex apartments are all refurbished as far as I know. As for the 1 bedroom apartments, it depends. The apartments are - as far as I know - all in the 5, 6, 7 and 8 blocks. The 7 block is all apartments, and if you look on the Lindos View website at the Accommodation page, the rooms there are all like the "House of Crystal". The apartments in the 5, 6 and 8 blocks are all like the "Classic 1 bed apartments" shown on the page. They're not exactly "old", but they're not as bling as some of the studios or the duplex rooms (which are in the B and D blocks as far as I know.) Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with the "classic" rooms - lots of people actually prefer them to the refurbished rooms, myself included, as they have things like a bathroom with a door, a proper wardrobe etc. For two people a duplex room is a bit unnecessary - a studio will be perfectly sufficient. Hope this helps.
