3 night stay at this wonderful and very welcoming hotel was a pleasure from start to finish. Beautiful clean and unique bedroom, excellent breakfast and helpful staff who are friendly and go the extra for you. Small problem with toilet flush fixed in minutes..no butter available on the Sunday at breakfast...arrived back at breakfast table with butter from the adjacent restaurant! Thanks to all the staff here who were so professional and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel which is beautifully presented and homely. Restaurant is also excellent and we had a great meal there on our first night. 10/10.
Not really an agriturismo, and worth four rather than three stars. Beautiful domain and 40 rooms. Restaurant in the hotel. They make bikes available. It is possible to cycle to the centre of Lodi, some 7km away. Nice for a stopover, clean rooms, private parking. Friendly reception.
Rooms are great, clean and big. Breakfast was nice and check in and out easy. Restaurant on side I didnt like- thought it was rather expensive comparing it to the hotel prices and service was not the same as the hotel. Got to be the first time I didnt enjoy my food in Italy
I am spending regularly 1 or 2 nights per week there. The rooms are spacious, the staff exceptionally friendly and the location is outstandingly beautiful kept up! Be aware horses on the premises. Kept apart but if you are allergic it may be a problem. Other than that: Strong recommendation!
Stayed here for a second time on company business. Firstly it’s a lovely building. Very very clean, the rooms are excellent and very well appointed. Very comfortable bed and a great shower. Staff were on the whole helpful and friendly. However. We were a group of four and on business. There is no bar. First time I stayed the bar wasn’t that good anyway and was attached the restaurant. One of the evenings the restaurant was closed and therefore so was the bar. We could at least get a drink in reception. However on this trip neither the bar nor restaurant were open and we couldn’t get a drink anywhere else. When I asked at reception if there was anywhere we could get a drink I was given a very curt “no”. Generally nice with easy access to Lodi but it’s not going to be top of the list when I visit again (and I will be), prefer to stay closer to Milan. …
This hotel is located close to Lodi and is set in wonderful grounds. Everything is well maintained and staff are very friendly. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast buffet offers a good choice. Currently there is no restaurant available , but the hotel offers a daily buffet with a limited choice of dishes.
What a great hotel! this one should be a 5 star hotel! The costumer service was great, the grounds are beautiful and peaceful, the rooms impecable! The breakfast was awesome! overall amazing experience!
We arrived at the hotel without a reservation, in a very anxious and tired state after driving for over 4 hours, enroute to the British Consulate in Milan. We had had our car broken into in Tuscany earlier in the day and all our luggage was stolen, including our passports. We were greeted by a receptionist who was so very helpful. We needed to find a police station ASAP to report our theft too prior to our appointment at the Consulate the following morning. The local police station was closed and the receptionist and her colleague tried their best to locate a police station that was open, making numerous phone calls. She also spent time with us explaining the easiest route into Milan, which tube to use, where to park the car, made maps of the city etc. We went for dinner at the restaurant. The restaurant was smart and menu very good. We were not very hungry due to the anxiety of the awful day we had had, so just ordered a simple sausage pasta dish. So glad we did because it was absolutely deeelishious, as was the wine. News of our ordeal had filtered to the restaurant and the staff there offered their sympathies too. When we retired to our room we found two disposable toothbrushes, mini toothpastes and aftershave and perfume samples to freshen up with as we had no deodorant! The room was large, clean and cool. The shower was great! We didn't get to try the breakfast as we had to leave at 6am to get to Milan on time. We would like to say a big thank you to the receptionist and her colleague - our ordeal was made so much lighter because of their helpful attention. If we are ever in Lombardy again I would certainly like to stay here again as we didn't fully appreciate what a nice hotel it actually was ( and my wife will be asking the chef for his receipt for the sausage pasta!)…
Stayed here one night in July, returning guest. I would have to say that the rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The air conditioner worked fantastic for such a hot day, this cannot be said for most of the hotels I stayed at in Europe this week!
A very charming location, clean big rooms, great breakfast and careful service. It’s a great option out of the beaten track and good for business too. I would just add slippers and iron, then it would be perfect :)
