Staying at a nearby villa, Bichi Borghese was recommended to us for a nice wine tasting. We had a terrific experience, starting with a tour of the gardens and the history of the family in Tuscany. The wine tasting was accompanied by bruschetta, cheese w honey and a local sausage. Amazing, one and all.

I spent a week at Bichi Borghesi in June and couldn't have loved it more. Every inch of the estate is charming. Paola and her staff made us feel like family and couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. The food is amazing, every detail is taken care of. I can't wait to return.

I stayed at Bichi Borghesi for the third time this summer. I was the co-host for an artistic retreat which took place on the grounds of the estate and which occupied all 3 of the apartments on the estate. To say that I was once again pleased with my interactions with the family and our stay is an understatement. I...

Bichi Borghese is the perfect spot if you're looking for a relaxing holiday in the Tuscan countryside. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the large Fattoria apartment which has wonderful views and a private, sunny walled garden. The estate has extensive grounds in which to wander, mellow buildings and a lovely swimming pool. You can even have...

We booked in October 2012 and were counting the days till 9/8/2013, the day we left for Bichi Borghesi. On our arrival we were really impressed by the estate and the surroundings. From out our 'Fattoria' we had amazing views on the Tuscan hills, vineyards, olive trees... We spent some time on the estate to relax and the rest of...

Decided to book an apartment here at the last minute to give us some time to relax on a grand European tour and definitely made the right decision. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment next to the main farm estate buildings which was very rustic but had all the amenities we required for self catering. We even had a...

Visited the winery on a tour group and was so impressed with everything. They were extremely friendly and offered small tastings to go with the excellent wine. I would highly recommend this wine and winery visit to everyone.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our estate lies on the northern border of the Montagnola Senese and overlooks the Elsa valley, an area rich in works of art and blessed by nature. The most famous towns of Tuscany, Siena, Firenze, San Gimignano, may be reached in a few kilometres. In our hamlet, surrounded by unpolluted landscape, can still be felt the charm of history and love that has linked our family to this land for more tan four centuries. Our apartments are fully and well furnished, independent and are located in centre of the hamlet. ... more   less

“We stayed in fattoria, which was the only villa vacant for our chosen dates. It sleeps 6, so when my husband and I arrived, we felt overwhelmed by the size, but quickly settled in and enjoyed the luxury of two bathrooms! It is so wonderfully rustic, with comfortable beds and large shuttered windows overlooking the estate. I would suggest booking in early to secure a smaller villa if there are just two of you, as there are only three on this large estate. Still, for what we paid for 10 days, I am not complaining.”
