We booked the Casalta for our family and friends for our wedding in Sept 2015. The B&B is lovely and traditional and is in a beautiful spot in Strove, Tuscany. Barbara and Lazzaro are very helpful and friendly owners. The food at the restaurant is exceptional. You do not want to miss out. Lazzaro is an excellent chef and his...

It is a nice place in a small village. It was a little difficult to get hold on the staff when checking in. Room was spacy with great view on the surroundings. Unfortunately not too clean – e.g. under beds. Flush in toilet did not function. Internet in the lobby only and not very fast. Breakfast starts very late, 8.30...

The rooms have proper Tuscan feeling, opening the window in the morning took my breathe away. I ate dinner with my girlfriend, we are pasta as a first course which was exceptional and beef/lamb for mains. All was cooked to perfection and the tastes we're out of this world. I have eaten all over Italy and this must be one...

Basic rooms. Wifi is decent in the lounge, but not in rooms. Late breakfast starting at 8:30 (on a weekday). We enjoyed the peace and quiet to relax after a week in the city/town centers along our journey via francigena! Dinner in the restaurant is fabulous and one of my favorite meals during my trip!

My fiancé and I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding. The room is basic, no air con, and the bathroom is quite dated. I would say at best a low 3 star. But it was functional and served it's purpose. However, if you eat at the restaurant, then it makes absolute sense to stay here so you...

Albergo Casalta provide clean and basic rooms. Our room didn't have aircon, the room and the bathroom were very small. I'm sure there were bigger rooms upstairs though. This is a good location to explore Monterragione, but you definitely need a car. We arrived late at night, and the only option for food was in the attached restaurant. The food...

First the hotel oozes charm everywhere. The room we had for a week was a generous size. The bathroom was good. The staff are warm, friendly and eager to please. Our hosts barbara snd lazarro could not be any better. Lazarro is the gourmet chef at the resteraunt below the hotel and his food was the reason to be back...

We drove past the turn off road to 'Abbadia a Isola' and 'Strove' (which is where Albergo Casalta is located) and ended up at the Monteriggioni Castle - but it was easy enough to ask for directions from there. What a beautiful drive!! (Highly recommend renting a car). We loved the hotel, the staff and the countryside! Open the window...
