We stayed several times at Huis ter Duin, mostly in spring in order to visit The flower shows in Keukenhof. This was the first time in autumn. And it was a very nice stay! The hotel is very well located on the ( in october nearly empty) beach, rooms are comfortable, professional and friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Don‘t miss the stunning view and the perfect dining in breakers beach house. Going back definitely next spring!
Dear hôtel I m just back from my one day trip there Hère my impression: Great staff Great service Great location Great food Great Wine Great manager I loved it so much In one word ….GREAT Thanks so much GC
Great reception and service. Clean, comfortable large room. We enjoyed the varied and wonderful breakfast and another advantage this hotel has is easy access to the beach. As expected, the service personnel is more than happy to serve you and give you a warm welcome.
Warm and welcome hotel, the best on the dutch shores. Great choice in restaurants and private atmosphere where ever you are in and outside the Hotel. We had a family gathering, but the hotel is also perfectly fit for business meetings.
It is always like coming home , friendly helpful staff and good food and perfect location for a holiday. Noordwijk is a very good place to have a holiday, centrally located for visiting Amsterdam, Leiden and The Hague, and the beach with its restaurants are great to summarize great place to be and staying in Huis ter Duin is a treat
The room was excellent, and my wife really enjoyed the in room breakfast baskets. We did not make it to the nicer restaurant, and the one on the terrace is good but not outstanding. I really enjoyed the location on the beach, where we could hear the waves at night and I could walk the beach. Excellent views of the sea and the ships headed to/from port.
The very good reviews set our expectations high and certainly there are things that were very good about the hotel. The staff at the hotel were excellent, friendly and helpful. The charming large room was spacious and we were very pleased with the city view. Unfortunately we were disappointed that water was not left or complementary. The tea and coffee was not replenished and cups not washed everyday. A word of warning, the hotel was very busy with new conferences and events each day and with only one lift it became a waiting game! The Breakers restaurant was closed most days due to the events taking place in the hotel, we did manage to eat there one evening and would highly recommend it. We did have a pleasant stay.
Not bad hotel, but not correspond with 5*, coffee machine was broken in the room- we asked about repair- wait 30 min than again call to the reception and again wait. Breakfast is standard- nothing special. Great location of the hotel, and good restaurant with sea view on the territory.
Gorgeous hotel, fabulous location right on a beautiful sandy beach. Hotel staff really friendly, welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Breakers restaurant serving fantastic food. Would highly recommend a stay here.
… I expected ! Went for a conference and haven’t really any expectations. Driving up to the hotel, is where your jaw drops the first time. This hotel is enormous! And it continues all the way through the reception, hallway to room to restaurants and Bars. At the same time, it feels historic and well kept. Service was great throughout the stay. Room on the 9th floor (912) outstanding. The view is something you will need to experience. Breakfast fine. Didn’t use the wellness area. Will definitely be back if in the area.
