Lovely family run hotel , Arnold is especially helpful . I was out early every morning , leaving before breakfast most days , Arnold had a packed breakfast waiting in a freezer bucket outside my room to collect and take with me , lovely touch. Clean rooms . Ten minute walk to the beach , would definitely go back and...

The De Ossewa is a family run hotel, not large but not everyone wants to get lost in a massive hotel. The owner is most helpful and friendly, even arranged a mini bus pick up for our visit to Keukenhof gardens. Good buffet breakfast, and only a short walk to Nooordwijk's sea front with all its restaurant's. Looking forward to...

Just returned from a school trip and couldn't have been happier with the hotel. The rooms are excellent-basic but clean and with all the essentials. Rooms 1 to 3 were probably the best. The food was excellent and Arnold senior and junior couldn't do more to help. The village is modern but very smart, the hotel being only a 5 minute...

The food was so good. I want food like that all if the time. Fresh bread every morning with a selection of unbeatable meats which made my mouth water. At night, the food DID NOT let me down at all. It was amazing. Sort of, kind of, pork. The pork was perfect.

I booked this hotel to stay with my girlfriend, it was one the cheaper options in the area (very nice area, villas not to far a walk away). The people were nice and friendly, it's walking distance from the beach/shops and the double deluxe room is a decent size. The hotel facilities are really basic, if they work that is....

We were looking for a good value hotel and this fits the bill. Easy to find. parking on site. very nice reception staff. However, in common with a lot of older Dutch properties the stairs ar more suited for those that want a climbing holiday. Narrow steps and very steep, if you are "lucky" enough to get a second floor...

De Ossewa advertises as a two star hotel but it is probably best if you think of it as a pensione, hostel, or basic b&b. It is family run and this adds to one of its few remarkable traits: one is made to feel at home right from the start, given directions to the beach and other sights, and treated...
