As we travelled by train being located next to the station was a bonus. The hotel is welcoming with a well laid out lounge/bar area. We ate in on the first night and the waiter suggested the set menu and he was not wrong. A well prepared meal well cooked and with good flavours. My wife really enjoyed the blue...

We stayed for one night in the hotel Tummers. It is opposite the railway station, but do not be put off by this. The hotel has an excellent restaurant serving local dishes. I had a local pork dish which was absolutely superb. We had a large room in the annexe which was clean and comfortable. However, it has reached that...

We have stayed at this hotel on three occasions when attending Andre Rieu concerts in Maasricht. Better value than staying in Maastricht. The rail station for travel into Maastricht is just across the road. Rooms are a little small and dated compared to today's standard but they are comfortable. Family run staff are excellent

We stayed here for a 2 night weekend break. The twin room was more of a suite of 2 rooms and we also had a single room. Very clean and comfortable and, even though on the road side, was very quiet. Delicious and plentiful breakfast in the beautiful dining room. The staff here are very helpful and friendly. It is...

Right across the road from the railway station. Friendly staff, good breakfast. I had a room for one in the outer wing. Room was clean, small balcony, good beds. Bathroom was modern, but VERY small. I'll spare you the details, but in order to sit on the toilet I had to put one foot in the bath tub... Enjoyed my...

Coach trip to Christmas markets. 3 night stay at Tummers. An attractive hotel, well-presented. Comfortable, clean rooms. We had one with a view over the station to the hill beyond. Food was first class - breakfast was excellent, good selection and quality. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the food was first class, well presented. The staff...

Lovely hotel - the staff are exceptionally friendly! Nothing seems to be too much trouble! Checking in and out was a pleasurable experience - they actually do care about the guests. Room was spotless, comfy bed with a nice view! Breakfast was great - everything you can think of! Just a short distance from the centre of Valkenburg - which...

The hotel is situated near the small train station of the city, what is no problem, as the trains seem to make no sound at all. The room I had, was pretty small but equipped with everything you need. The bath seems to be quite new and in good condition. A plus was to have a balcony, which most of...

We stayed at Hotel Tummers for a weekend break. The hotel is well located just a short walk from the centre of Valkenburg. The hotel offers parking either behind the hotel or in their underground garage. From the moment that we arrived the service was excellent. Our room was in the building next to the main hotel on the 2nd...
