We had the pleasure of staying in the Colona Castle for 8 days. We stayed in two different suites and both were absolutely stunning, large and very clean . The hotel exceeded our expectations as it looked better than in the pictures. We got 5 star treatment from the beginning to the end. Nicole and Michael are excellent hosts and...

We had the pleasure of staying at Colona Castle for 5 nights. It is a very central location for seeing all of the sights in the Cape Town area but a car is essential for getting around. Nicole and Michael were excellent hosts. They had great recommendations for us as to what to see and also where to eat. We...

Right at the edge of the city, close to the small villages towards the Table Mountain national park, lies this boutique hotel. It's worth a drive to the park, stopping by SImon's village to see the pinguins and cape point. The hotel is a classic, well furnished, homelike setting. Just far from everything else. Breakfast great (no buffet) and dinner...

We stayed at Colona Castle for just one night to be located closer to the Shark Dive companies leaving out of False Bay. We had 2 different rooms and both rooms were simply stunning. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating (even to the point of leaving a special breakfast out for me as I had to leave for my...

We stayed here last year as part of our honeymoon trip to SA. We had a fabulous stay - the hotel was beautiful, one of a kind, with amazing views of Cape Town. The owners were extremely helpful and gave great advice on where to visit/eat. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - it was amazing.

A beautiful boutique hotel. Off the beaten track - if Cape Town is your main destination - but Muizenberg has its own charms and sets you off for visits to the Cape of wine region easy enough. Big downside is that the french lady who runs the hotel has a somewhat pre war attitude to children which is a shame...

I stayed at Colona Castle in May 2011 with my son. We wanted a break, visit some friends and do some sightseeing. It was the perfect spot for us. Not far from Cape Town, near Cape Point and on the way to the wine area. The road along the coast from Muizenberg to Stellenbosch is just beautiful ! There are...

Words cannot say enough about this hotel. The interior is stunningly filled with Asian antiques, the views are breathtaking as it overlooks a large lake and also False Bay, the music softly playing sets the mood for total relaxation and decadence. The quality and attention to detail in the rooms is remarkable; the breakfasts, the gracious hospitality and assistance with...
