Tranquil is a how I would describe my first impression about this place. You leave behind all the commotion of the outside world. Tucked in a little corner, close to the banks of a picturesque river lies this enchanting surprise. It has all the ingredients of a quiet retreat with it’s well maintained lawn and the cozy looking tents and...

We travelled here in the month of March 2017. The booking was done on phone (whenever we could get through the numbers provided on the site). The process of check in was simple & the tent (no. 9) we stayed in was clean & lit. The drawback of this place is the ephemeral nature of electricity (though they have a...

Pros: - Its set in a nice location in the jungle with lots of activities around to indulge in, such as rafting, forest walks, etc. The location and the resort ambience itself is quite rustic and taking a walk along the nearby river's banks itself can be a nice activity. - Good value for money for accommodation tariff. The tent...

Do not visit this place during the peak season of Christmas or any local festival for the locals blast music nearby- disrupting the very purpose of the eco-lodge. With the surrounding noise, alcohol- induced tourists and absolute chaos- it is not a good idea of visit during the holidays. However, the forest is MAGNIFICENT- worth visiting 10/10. Great amount of...

The Camp, which is run by a local NGO, is along the lines of the Kulgi Nature Camp in Dandeli, Karnataka, and has both tented and cottage-type rooms. The tents are quite comfortable. Each tent has 2 cots with mattresses and comforter-type thick blankets (necessary as winter nights can be quite chilly). The bathroom was clean and neat and had...

Situated in village Potasali, dist. Sonitpur, near the banks of river Jia Bhoreli, nearest airport being Tezpur,Nameri Eco Camp is a paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers. Local Assamese style thatched huts at the exterior and the tent in the interior makeup for each cottage unit and the soothing setting of the camp amongst the green environs will certainly be...
