Can book in advance. Ask for fresh fish snacks. Fresh organic vegetables for salad and cooked food. Do a jeep safari. The pool is beautiful. Staff experienced and efficient. It is lovely to sit under a star lit sky. Ask for a bonfire.

Some of us felt as though we were an intrusion, even though we were the only guests. The food was acceptable. I was uncomfortable with the way that some staff were treated by more senior staff. Rooms were large with nice views and hot water. Of 7 hotels stayed at during the Rajasthan visit, this is one of only two... More

Came for lunch with Explore India group. Did not stay in the hotel. The lung food was good, but similar to all the other Indian buffets that we had been eating for two weeks. The restaurant terrace looks out to a lake - not a great view.

Weekend stay with about 39 people. Best route - Delhi, Gurgaon NH8, Bhiwadi, Alwar, Umaid Lake Palace, Dausa - roads good all the way through. Do not bother to go through Sariska National Park, unless you want to go to the hanuman temple, where apparently Bheem tried to lift hanuman's tail, but could not. Lovey hotel with luxurious grounds, having organic farming, cows, orchards, a small temple. All these small things make it really unique. The lobby, dining hall, shop etc are all huge.
