I visited the Cedars Inn as part of a large group for our workplace Christmas party. The venue itself was very nice and the atmosphere was great. The bars had a great selection of alcohol to choose from and prices were what you would expect to pay in such a place. The food was very tasty and I believe everyone...

Receptionist was really helpful on arrival, friendly and chatty. Her task was made difficult as some documentation concerning my stay had been mislaid, but this was sorted in about 15 minutes. Room was interesting- recently refurbished upstairs room in one of the outside motel type units. Well equipped, great bathroom, comfy bed. My only gripe was that the floor was...

I am at the Cedars at the moment, just back from an excellent dinner in the restaurant. I understand what previous reviewers mean, the room could do with a toilet brush and the pillows are rubbish, but that aside, it is a great place to stay. When they said I was staying in the courtyard, I had visions of a...

Hotel was basically OK. Friendly staff, very clean. Evening food OK, like typica lpub food, nothing exceptional. We booked a w/e break using Tesco points, and paid the extra to have the 1 Superior room. Whilst the room was big and clean, it was bang at the front of the hotel, above where customers went out to smoke. The windows...

Booked for a special birthday. Staff very attentive and friendly. Good food, Comfortable rooms. Pre-booked extras (flowers/chocolates) were great. First evening, as a bonus, they were holding a 'comedy evening' featuring four stand up comedians - very funny!! Rooms in the main house or in other bulidings across car park. Plenty of car parking.

We booked a table, after confirming dogs are allowed in the bar area. Friendly staff on arrival showed us where we were sitting with our little cockerpoo. Meals excellent , well presented. We asked for a corner position so our cockerpoo did not disturb others. There was a small window seat by our table we put her own mat on...

Quite a large party attended a post funeral high tea. The private function room had recently had a complete makeover and now offers a bright and cheering place for friends and family to meet. The buffet was well presented with a good range of finger sandwiches, other savouries and cakes. It made a very pleasant end to a difficult afternoon.
