Tasty food and a great location for a stop off. Portions were small though and had to order extra bread. Good drinks selection and looks like a lovely place to stay. Defo worth a stop! Nice for children and had buckets and spades to borrow for the beach

I loved my stay at YHA Boggle Hole! The location is very pretty and the staff were incredible, really friendly and helpful. The hostel was spotlessly clean and the decor was wonderful - so much thought has clearly been put into it! I don't have any kids but I loved all the inside and outside trails and treasure hunts for...

Giulia, What an amazing review. A lot of thought has gone in to Boggle over the years; how to make it special, how to help it make the most wonderful memories. The decor and location are unique and mean that once you are here, you've no reason to want to leave. I'm delighted the food was good, and especially pleased...

only stopped for a drink so can not comment on food or accommodation but looked lovely. very relaxed, dog friendly (not sure about accommodation). As you would expect lots of children in and out as it is a youth hostal

Lots of children yes, and dog-friendly cafe and public spaces. We can't currently offer dog-friendly accommodation, but more and more Youth Hostels are welcoming pooches into their alternative spaces - be they Yurts, Camping Pods or even Teepees!

Great little hostel, set away from the town of Whitby with great access to Robin hoods bay, excellent new build and customer service, walk straight onto the beach or into the countryside. Would recommend for anyone who liked walks near the sea.

Cheers Mark. We are well suited to those in need of turf or surf. Our location is one of our most obvious assets, but it's good to hear that the staff also feature highly in your memories. See you again soon.

This is a great out of the way hostel without actually being very out of the way. You have to walk in 1/4 mile so be warned, but it is well worth it. The coast is beautiful, you are right on the beach - which gets cut off at high tide, adding to the fun. Its a 15 minute walk...

Its great that your older kids still enjoyed their time here - Boggle tends to bring out the kid in everybody. And thanks for the great review. Its good to know we are still managing to help intrepid explorers make memories that will last.

This newly renovated YHA is a fantastic little place hidden away in Boggle Hole. All the communal areas have been done up beautifully, and the modern extension provides some top class en suite rooms. There are loads of little quirky features (like the treasure chest laundry chute), that will keep the kids entertained. The location, a bit of a walk...

Hostel staff were really helpful and friendly. The hostel was a delight. The location is excellent but the walk to Whitby was very muddy and treacherous in places. Food in the hostel was good and excellent for the price. Sleeping for me with the snorers was difficult and rather spoiled things. However all in all a great stay and I...

The cafe is lovely with a woodburning stove and subtle, warm lighting. The self_catering kitchen is clean and well_equipt. Our room was functional and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

This is the third time we have stayed at Boggle Hole and twice since it has been recently renovated. The location is stunning, you have your own little bit of glorious coastline and can easily walk over the cliffs or along the beach, subject to the tides, to Robin Hoods Bay. The bar/cafe facilities are great and quirky, just like...

Wecan make great coffee and serve great cake, have a lovely location and a log burner ... but nothing beats our staff. We are proud of the people that make Boggle the welcoming place it is. Cheers.
