Super friendly pub and B and B. The ambience is great. The food is excellent, the rooms and lovely, all provided by friendly helpful staff. The Crown is in a beautiful quiet hamlet in the Lakes, but close to everything. Highly recommend and thanks to all the great staff!

Fantastic food, fabulous service and a beautiful setting. Recommended by our b&b it was worth the walk. They managed to fit us in, even though they were busy and took the food order while we waited for our table to minimise the wait. Lovely menu and delicious wine! Well worth a visit. Garlic mushrooms are delicious!!!!

We were shown to the room which was small but looked ok at first but not what we expected for the price paid. There were cobwebs around the light shades and on the ceiling. The mattress was...

This was our first time visiting the Lake District. The pub itself was very welcoming after a long journey. Jay who welcomed us as we arrived had a great sense of humour and took the time to chat to us. The room which we stayed in (room 3) was very well decorated with a big comfy bed! Also the room...
