It was nice to spend the night at Gaedi Hotel after a long day of walking amid the beautiful landscapes of the Saas-Fe/Graechen area. The room is big with a pleasant bathroom and a nice balcony. Very warm welcome from all the staff. Food was absolutely delicious, very nicely cooked with excellent local ingredients and the breakfast is amazing. I will stay again next time I walk in this area.

We stayed at Hotel Gaedi during one week in July 2020 and we very much enjoyed this hotel. The owners and personnel are super friendly and helpful, delivering an excellent service. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choices, and dinner was high quality too. We had a nice family-room, which was very clean.

This is probably one of the best price-quality hotels in the Graechen area. We definitely recommend this hotel !

We stayed here for a few nights while my wife ran an ultra marathon. The owners could not have been friendlier from the moment we arrived, always greeting us and in general being lovely.

The room was very comfortable with amazing mountain views. The breakfast was always spectacular, I’m sure dinner would have been the same (we never got a chance to book in).

One of the best places I have ever stayed, hands down.

Excellent service, great location, right near the cablecar, close to amenities. We have been visiting Grächen for many years. The food in this hotel is the best we had. Our room and he hotel are very functional with many prctical details. We had a refurbished rooms with a great view, not sure if all of them are like this, so better ask.

It is the only hotel in the world where we have stayed three times. That says it all. Very warm welcome, helpful and personal treatment, very good food. Feels like home. Everything starts with a good website and smooth booking process. Rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is superb

We stayed four nights on an Alps day-hiking visit. Rooms are spacious and clean and have a view of the Weishorn. Helpful owners: When we discovered our two-prong adapters that we'd used multiple times in France did not work in Switzerland (the size is a bit different), we were able to borrow an adapter until we could purchase one (at the Coop grocery near the hotel). We also got a local pass for free Graechen gondola rides as well as one RT bus/train into Zermatt and a free pass to ride the Gornergrat Railway (otherwise about $100 pp). That was a very nice perk.

Meals were very fresh, tasty, and plentiful. The breakfast spread was one of the best we've had in Europe. I even liked Martin's homemade muesli (which I usually do not like). Dinners (we did half-board) were a great value for the four courses, and each course's portion was sized for hungry hikers. Most evenings I could not finish my main course. The focus is on regional food and ingredients, which is what we look for when we travel. The local Valaisian wines were tasty and totally new to us.

we stayed here a while ago. I was a little hesitant about coming here due to very few reviews available, but I needn't have worried. It was probably the best hotel of the holiday. The staff were very friendly. Great rooms, spotlessly clean. The 5 course evening meals were about 40chf, and were awesome, I'm sure you would have to pay well over twice that for anything as good in Zermatt. When we went (late summer), Grachen was a quiet, pleasant little town, with a few pubs and bars scattered around. It's within a couple of minutes walk from the ski lifts. I'd recommend this place without hesitation for anyone planning to stay here. You won't regret it.

Great Hotel, and very friendly staff. It is located very close the the Hannigalp cable car station. Official breakfast time is at 8.00am, however they did open earlier 7.30am because I needed an early start for the planed hike.

The beds are quite soft, for those like me that perfer a hard mattrass.

Thank you very much for a great stay

Great friendly service, they could not do enough for you including serving breakfast at 4.30am because i had an early start. Hotel is lovely and there is an enormous choice of food at breakfast. there are lovely mountain views from the balcony and the free cable car ticket to Hanigalp is a nice touch and well worth the trip. I would definitely stay here again.
