Received a warm welcome at reception against the poor dismal weather outside. We arrived at 6pm on Friday St Paddys day and the hotel was busy. Just home from a very relaxing weekend in red castle hotel. The staff are very friendly and courteous to cater for all your needs. The setting of the hotel is beautiful and was thoroughly enjoyed. Very busy hotel. Our suite was beautiful with a very comfortable bed, lovely separate living room and very clean bathroom. The hotel was more then expected. Spa and hotel right on the water. Didn't have time for any spa treatments but I would come back to try. Stayed here so that we could go to the northernmost point of Ireland.

My advice is take plenty of money with food and drink prices are way over the top bottle of wine you could buy for ten euro costs thirty seven food menu again expensive sandwich in lobby costs six euro seventy five cents and if you want a different accompaniment from set menu cost extra the food itself my wife ordered...

Between Harvey's point and Redcastle, Redcastle wins. 5 star. Food was simply excellent over the 2 days. Have to take my hat off to this head chef, food simply stunning. Room was good and staff very nice. Can't recommend this place enough. Best in Donegal *****:-))

Afternoon tea looking out at the sea. Good range of sandwiches and cakes and very reasonably priced. Can even have a glass of prosseco. Friendly staff, choice of tea or coffee and refills when you want.
