We stayed here for 1 night last night and to say the least then the place looks old and worn down every where you look, shaby environment and the view over the dumpsters from our room was not nice. We paid way to much for what we got. Breakfast was rather poor, the bathroom very small, and the rooms poorly...

We made a stop in Lakselv and went there just for a cup of coffee on our journey from Nordkapp to Inari. The atmosphere was very nice, the service was very kind, the coffee was not a delicious espresso, but was not bad either, the prices was very convenient.

This hotel is extremely run-down, both outside and inside. The room was a sufficiently comfortable hostel room, and the bathroom LOOKED clean, but the whole room, especially the bathroom, smelled like a sewer. The elevator that we took down for breakfast smelled even more strongly of sewage, so I'm assuming they were having some pipe trouble. The breakfast was OK,...

Over priced for what I got. Room certainly did not look like the picture they showed in their web site! Door of shower was hanging off its hinges unable to open and close. Electric outlets hard to reach. Electric kettle, but only one small token coffee pouch. Nice view. Staff helpful

I'm staying here for five days, and I'm ready to write a review after two days. The only thing I can't complain about is the central location in the middle of Lakselv. Everywhere you look you might think you traveled 15-20 years back in time, except for two chairs and a coffee in the main entrance. The wifi is free,...

Stayed for 3 nights August 2013. The rooms are basic but Good bathroom and shower. Staff always helpful and spoke good English, which helped us enormously as our Norwegian is pitiful. Everything in Norway is expensive, so we actually thought the hotel was good value relatively. The hotel pub is open until 3 am on Saturday and is well patronised!...

After a long day of traveling I needed something to eat, I got a recommendation to “Stedet”, Located at the ground floor of Porsanger hotel, the facade was a bit shabby, and I didn't expect any Michelin star food. The interior was brown and in need for some updates, but the interior is the least problematic with this eating establishment....

This place was hard to find with navigator, but it's located on main street (not the back street!) next to Statoil. Breakfast was very limited, and room design was almost vintage 80's. Bathroom was ok. There is a quite popular bar downstairs. I think this is pricey, but hey, Norway is..

My wife and I went to Porsanger for a 3 night stay. We rented a car in advance to have the opportunity to drive around and look at the sites up in Finnmark. Lucky we did, as the weather was a bit on and off during our stay. There are lots of great nature to watch, and the accommodation gives...

Every year when I stay a weekend in Lakselv, which is the name of the place, I use this "hotel". It's a pub, restaurant with rooms. It's clean and nice and in the very center of Lakselv. You have to pay for the internett and that service is very poor. Even the hotel admitted it this time and they would...
