Its a cheap hotel so dont expect much. Room is average, breakfast is nice service is average. However they should really work on the isolation! On a room street sided its impossible to have a decent night. Also careful with the parties in the big room and noise up to 2AM if you need a decent night

My partner and I arrived in Alcobaca late and without reservations for a place to stay. What a wonderful surprise to have found this hotel brimming with old world charm... and for less than an AirBNB! The innkeeper was super friendly and very accomodating to all our needs! He even chilled and sent up a bottle of wine for me since I was too tired to go off property for refreshments! The next morning, up before breakfast at 8:00 a.m., so he once again went above and beyond by making us espresso and by telling us the story behind the name of this property! It's quite romantic! Be sure to ask! If your are looking for a resort with luxury accomodations, the Hotel D. Ines de Castro is not for you. If you are seeking very spacius and clean accomodations in an area within walking distance to the cathedral, shops and cafes, be certain to stay here!…

An average hotel with a modest lobby and a friendly staff, the hotel doesn't look very attractive on the outside. It's a bit oldfashioned, but the rooms and the breakfastroom appear more modern. I have been there several times because it was so cheap and the room was quite spacious. For a small amount of money we got a room for 3 persons and the rooms are neath and clean. The location is not very special but easily to reach with a parking garage and not too far away from the famous cathedral and its surroundings - the restaurants, shops, terraces etc.
