Nestled under the castle, directly fronting the beach, this hotel has stunning views and a central location but is nonetheless peaceful as at night there is no passing footfall. The service is excellent, the owner is multi-lingual and her local knowledge and recommendations helped us to make the most of our time in Tossa. Free wifi and air-con and a...

When booking Cap d'Or we asked for the family room as there were 4 of us, including two children. Upon the arrival we were given rooms 101 and 102 connected with each other with a tiny corridor. We were not informed that there were no separate beds for children and they had to sleep together. This was no problem but...

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay, but we do not agree with you, however room 111 is not on the frontal side, it is a nice room with the same facilities as the others rooms (pictures available at Trip Advisor ) and guests can see the beach just turning a llitle bit the head. We suggest travellers...

After reading all the good reviews about this hotel, we emailed them and thought our selves lucky that they had a sea view room that they could offer us. On arrival we were shown to room 111, which is at the end of a corridor and the view from the window is of the side alley to the hotel and...

We apologise again for the inconveniences caused to you, we made a writing mistake offering a frontal sea view room when it was not available, althougth the price given was the correct one for the room 111, which we believe it is a nice room, but on the lateral side ( beach is on the right side). However you moved...

Perfect location for access to town, sea or castle. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast always fresh and delicious. The staff are pleasant and efficient and the owners are caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to stay in this delightful town.

Dear guests who did not like room 111, We are terribly sorry about our mistake, we did not tell it you before you had left home because we did not realise until you arrive (it was a spelling mistake writing the e-mail) and however we tried to change you to another room with frontal sea view it was impossible because...

Lovely hotel - old-fashioned hospitality. Lovely women running it. Take their advice on local restaurants. Walk around the castle (during the day and at night!) A great stay and all the family enjoyed it.

The atmosphere: This is a family-run B&B. If you want central air and standardized newness, go somewhere else. But if you want a lovely, warn homelike atmosphere, right on the beach and with a knowledgeable and welcoming hostess, this is your place. The good: - Location, location, location. - Very kind and helpful staff. - Ample, homemade cakes, quiches and...

A friend and I spent two night here on our recent trip to Spain. It was heaven. All the rooms have a beach view. The breakfast, which is included in the cost, was amazing. It was great homemade food and there was a nice variety. The room was clean and the service was excellent. I will definitely stay here again...
