My husband and I and our daughter and her husband stayed here last August (I know this review is a little late) but I wanted to make sure we acknowledge what a great time we had. Our daughter had their six-month old son with them and the owner was so accommodating. We travel a lot and I was very impressed...

We stayed one night at Greg Gables. Our host was very accommodating to our schedule that day for checking in. The room was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was astounding, with great selection of interestingly prepared food.

My husband and I stayed here after a long day of excellent fishing on Lake Erie. The accommodations were outstanding. The Grey Gables is very charming. We had a big room with an updated bathroom which had a shower stall, perfect for us. The owner, Jim, was very friendly and accommodating. Jim was gracious enough to get up extra early...

We recently stayed at Grey Gables while attending an event in the Port Burwell. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with ensuite baths. The rooms feature TVs exclusively for watching videos and a huge range of great old movies are provided in each room. There is a common room, with TV access, for watching and Wifi is available. The lovely...

Stayed here for one night in the ground floor room and found it very comfortable and super clean. Jim is a great and attentive host who also makes a very good breakfast. My mother talked about those scrambled eggs for days, she was so delighted! Learned a lot about the area from Jim and really enjoyed ourselves.Would definitely stay here...

We had a great time at Grey Gables. Jim, the owner, came out to greet us immediately upon parking and gave us a tour of the house. Our room (Poster Room) was very spacious and clean with a very large bathroom and cozy claw-foot bath tub for a well deserved soak after a 4 hour motorcycle ride. We slept well...

A large room, suitable for someone with mobility issues, that contained a fireplace for a winter stay and air conditioning that we used while there. The ensuite bathroom is modern and includes the bars in the tub/shower that are so necessary for those of us with physical challenges. Located in the centre of town we could and did walk everywhere. A...

We happened upon Grey Gables after an unfortunate booking at another establishment. We had been horrified with our current accommodations and were told by some lovely people we met to attempt to move to this B&B. Jim Hovener could not have been more gracious and helpful with our transfer. The room...(suite!) he offered us was beyond what we had expected...

We had no idea where to stay and chose this place after going to the info. in town, just by the write-up there and by the picture shown on-line by the info. young person. We were warmly welcomed by the host; the place was clean and adequate and the breakfast was gourmet! We felt it was well worth the money...

We came; we were advised where to dine (excellent!) ; we loved the jacuzzi; we loved the nearby beach, lighthouse and pier; we slept very well; we over-indulged at breakfast; we came back again!

“If you have any mobility problems, ask for a ground floor room, because the stairs in the main building are quite steep.”

“The Teddy Bear room (named for the person who helped renovate it) is a good choice if you have a walker or mobility issues. There are no wheelchair ramps (yet!), but the room doors are wide enough to accommodate them.”

“We liked the first floor and the fact that the two rooms shown us both had a queen and single bed, tho' we only used the queen. Convenient parking was a big bonus. Forgot a blow dryer so needed to air dry! The porch is lovely to sit on and we relaxed in the quietness of the town. The park and beach within walking distance are both great. We are seniors so it was all fine for us, but may be a bit too quiet for a younger age group depending on why they were there. Might just be perfect!”
