- very, very great islands (Nabucco & Nunakan) - maybe the last, remote paradises
in the world
- top of the hop diving places, they also belong to the best remaining ones of
the world (e.g. Big Fish Country, Jack Point, Manta Cleaning Station etc.)...More
Nabucco gathers everything you need for the perfect break: incredible location out of the Maratua main island, fantastic bedrooms with direct access to the laguna, very friendly atmosphere among customers and staff. Add to that some of the best diving spots in the area with...More
Amazing location and the most friendly staff!!
One of those places you have to see, and preferably with a special person!

We were extremely pleased with Nabucco Island Resort (by Extradivers) in the vicinity of Maratua Island (not Central Kalimantan as the listing here says). Kathrin was very responsive during the booking period which helped since we booked quite late.

Just finished our "annual" (somewhat) diving holiday and couldn't have been happier we chose Nabucco Island Resort! Everything was well planned from the early bookings and monitoring of expected airport openings versus boat trips to arrival transfers and of course the diving!

We're travelling to Maratua next Jully with my girlfriend, and we'd like to stay in one of Maratua's homestays but dive with Nabucco Resort's staff. Is it possible to do that from a homestay at Payung-payung or Bohe-silian? I mean... where do we have to join the boat of the resort? and when? How long does it take from any of thoses villages to the jetty where we should join the boat?Do we need to rent a scooter for that purpose or is it possible to do it on foot or by bicycle?
If we do have to stay in the resort to dive with them... is there any chance to go to Maratua when not diving for some hours, in order to visit the forest, lakes, and beaches?
And one final question: we've reserved some 5 to 6 days for Maratua... how many dives would you consider the appropriate number for Maratua's area?
Thank you very much for your attention and help ;)
