First of all, the secluded location provides the necessary tool for you to disconnect from daily hectic life, this is i think the main objective for this resort.
The reception and the on duty manager was very helpful and friendly. Love them.

The room i took, the Garden Villa, was very spacious, tidy and fulfilling for a short R&R. We had a great rest while we were there. The bath tub was elegant and my daughter enjoys it so much. There was a electric malfunction at night where the outside chandelier's bulb blew and its glass shattered but after calling the housekeeping, they came and clean it straightaway.
The swimming pool is big and given the MCO condition, only 10 pax were allowed in a time,. we have so much space for ourselves.
There are some activities offered such as the fruit farm visit and the morning walk but we dint took part in any of those.

What i think they should improve, one of the main concern is their F&B. being secluded means the patrons will be spending most of their time in the resort. An RM90 per pax for a 3-courses dinner is not a good price at all. If you like to munch, do bring your own foods as they don't have much to offer, they don"t even have a mini mart in house. The breakfast spread also not that much but enough to fill you up. The sambal was very nice though.

Overall, for a weekend R&R, i could recommend this resort to anyone but it might took me some time before i visited this resort again.

Wanted to take this opportunity to thank resort team for looking after us so well during the two nights when we were staying there. The hotel is neat, clean and it’s very quiet and calm area. Super comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. For the safety of covid-19 there is no doubt, starting from the hand sanitize that is available in several places and the staffs who maintain the hygiene and friendly when serving the food. The staff are well trained and arranged for all the service to serve the customer to minimize the exposure. This was one of our memorable stay. Great job, will be back for sure.

Had a family trip (Ms Emma group) during CNY 30 Jan to 2nd Feb 2022 ,Villa 22 ,13 and safari 2 for family bonding 15 Pax to enjoy the peace of mind after the hectic schedule and chaos city environment.
We had a great service accompanied by amazing 6 service crews. They were kind enough to carry my mother on her wheelchairs to the villa which required strong hands to lift her.

They also delivered foods to doorsteps ,to my mother .The villa had 2 rooms and the taste of luxurious decoration is a world class touch.

The facilities provided so spectacular. The SPA services plus the wet spa and salt room gave an amazing experience with soft touch of spa expert.

Not too forget , the karaoke room added awesome activity to those think they can sing better than all the singer (hihi).

What i like most the library which located in front of pool. Parents still can enjoy their ME time whilst the kids inside the pool. Amazing right?

If you come here, highly recommended go to bee farm. You will not regret, you can taste the honey without tamper of any sugar. Can't describe the feeling BUT must experience yourself. You can buy the honey as a gift for your loved ones or for yourself :). Mr John and the Hotel Manager, tall ,smart Chinese guy :) were great companion during the visit(so sorry forgot his name)

Oh yeah, not to forget the admin by named of Amira(HQ) who kind enough ,with her speed and agility to look for my left item and found .The integrity of their worker are undoubtedly.

Although in the forest with a greeny view , I didn't experience mosquitoes in the room .Oh yes, definitely will come back again.Perhaps..fruit season, yeay..What i can say! This is one of my family favourite gathering place already!

Till we meet again ..XOXO

We went there in early August on the weekend that they reopened. We were drawn in by their promotion and advertised facilities. We decided on a 3day/2night stay at one of their suites.

However, on reaching there, we found out a number of facilities were either not available or restricted in the number of persons permitted to use it.

Being a 2 storey building, we found out that some rooms literally had a roof view, with nothing else to be seen. Other rooms had roof views as well as some greenery.

The canopy walk was not ready as promised by the sales team. Thankfully, with the help of Resort Manager Joue Chang, she managed to arrange for the staff to operate the walk, although a day later. She was wonderful. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating of guests requests where possible.

The orchard was a bit run down since it had not been tended to properly during the MCO & RMCO due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Orchard walk was hence a bit disappointing as there were not much fruit trees to view except for some rambutan trees and what else were rather sparse and scattered.

The meals were rather limited in choice, being only high-end Western cuisine, or Thai cuisine. The portions for the Western cuisine were rather small. Limited to a starter, main course which was very small in portion, and dessert. Similarly for the Thai cuisine.

Breakfast for the first morning was buffet style but the second (on a Monday) was not. There were only 2 selections and portions were similarly minimal. The staff though were accommodating and were able to fulfill guests requests for alternatives.

The main building and rooms though were nicely decorated and luxurious. The dining room had a view of the aviary which had quite a number of budgies flying around.

The room looked very impressive but it was layers of stain, dust & cobweb forms full of insects

This is just plain disappointment to the max. This resort is totally out of the shape and the management don’t even have the heart to maintain it.

Starting from the entrance lobby, the first impression for every guests at every hotel/resort is musty smell.

Second, done checked in, heading to the room. This is a resort, which you can imagine where your villa/room will situated. It’s a very far distance. And there is no buggy at all. What if there are elderly now? Did the management expect them to walk all the way to their room/Villa?

Third, the room. We booked a pool villa for our stay. The first impression. The pool is not really clean We couldn’t even manage to step our foot in the pool during our stay. What for we are paying this much for the pool villa when there is an unusable pool. The interior of the villa itself is fine. But the shower area is clogged. The water takes almost an hour to all drain off, after complain to management until we check out , is not any house keeping person come to solve this problem.(as per attachment)

Fourth, we go for the spa. The description on the website when we booked for the villa stated that they are providing a few of complimentary services including jacuzzi, steam room, and cold plunge pool. But when we check it out, the cold plunge pool is unusable. The staff mention that the management had stop this facility.(as per attachment)

Fifth, we take a walk around the resort. Obviously as I said earlier, the management don’t even bother to switch on the aircond. Everywhere we go, every facilities room we go, and even the pool area, is all switched off. I’m feeling I’m at an abondend old outdated resort,

All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this resort at all. It’s just total disappointment

Not enough staff.. Everything slow.
Restaurant looks a bit like a canteen.
The staff are nice, but doing too many jobs. Housekeeping also works at restaurant, also looks after karoeke room.. They cannot focus and all is slow..

The restaurant manager also does other work like manage team house.

Ala cut menu is very poor choice and they charge RM8 for each bottle of mineral water at restaurant. The room bottle is limited to one per person per day

Housekeeping is based on request..

At 1st, we try to find a place to stay at Malacca during school holiday but all place fully booked until I search & found this place. When we reached I felt really shocked that someone introduced himself as Mr Siri (GM) greet me at the lobby. After check in, he bring us to look around & really happy to see this place is really meet our expectation (private, pool, great place, peaceful, quite and back to nature).

There got private bathtub, really BIG Pool that my kids really enjoyed (at that time nobody use the pool except our family 😄), the jacuzi also only us at that time, there also have library (not have enough time to use) & also really delicious breakfast (nasi lemak, roti canai, etc & the most important Fresh Juice!)

But, if you really wants to stay here, pls bring yourself enough food to eat since this place took 1 hour to the town of Malacca, but took around 20-25mins to MPO. But if you wants to request food at the hotel not so sure whether they have or not.

Overall, surely we will come again next time & thank you to all staff especially the GM, Mr Siri for your great service & until we meet again.

Had a one night stay over the weekend at Villa 17 for a quick family retreat & mother’s birthday celebration. Although some of the looking-forward amenities are closed and still on post-COVID recovery I must admit the fact that the food quality remains top notch with uncompromised taste and presentation in which, all these are complemented with great service level shown by the F&B crew. We were lucky enough to have bunch of hotel crew (led by Jessie) who were also hardworking, quick and attentive in accommodating all of our needs throughout the stay and taking extra miles to deliver all the food straight to the doorstep since my mum who’s on a wheelchair with limited capabilities to walk to the restaurant. The room is cosy, well taken care of and the furniture & decor are luxurious and on point. If it’s not due to some flies and mosquitoes in the room I’m sure the overall experience will be almost perfect!

The visit to stingless bee farm was such a rewarding experience and the friendliness of all the crew in the farm makes us feel at home, warmth & welcomed.

Not to mention, the sales officer who helped in the booking arrangement is above par and she has been very understanding & tried her every level best in realising what we dreamt to achieve in this trip.

First of all thank you to Jou. You put so much effort into making a program to fit exactly what I needed. When things like yoga were not available, you went and outsourced from another company so I could have 1:1 yoga sessions every day. You allowed for a lot of flexibility in the program so I could make changes as necessary. Services suc as massage etc are understandably closed due to the current Covid19 environment.
The program I had included sauna, saltroom, steam Room, jacuzzi, nature walks and yoga daily along with a customised detox meal plan. I am a happier and healthier person because of my stay at Orchard Wellness. I know MANY of my Australian friends are interested after I posted on Facebook. All of your staff were very hard working, extremely professional and friendly. I really enjoyed my interactions daily with them and felt like I was in good hands. The villa I stayed in was very luxurious and in good condition. Sitting on the veranda listening to the wildlife was so tranquil. I am excited to see the Orchard in a different season with different fruit. I have learnt a lot from my experience there and will definitely be coming back again in 3-6 months time. Thank you again!
