Detailed Reviews
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a night. This 3 year old 16 room hotel was very clean and spotless, still in pristine condition.
As comments in Tripadvisor pointed out that the standard and deluxe rooms were rather small, we opted for a super deluxe room, the best the hotel had to offer.
Our super deluxe room was relatively generous in space, bearing in mind it is a budget hotel in a district town.
However the amenities in the room were minimal. There was a tv and a half a metre length railing to hang clothes. There was a mirror underneath the railing, below which was a tiny 'dressing table'. There was no cupboard and we were operating from our suitcases. There was no shelf or flat top to place our stuff. They were all over the floor.
The aircond was very good and not noisy.
The bathroom was quite big. Fittings were modern and up market. However, there was no mirror in the bathroom.
Hot and cold drinking water dispenser was available the the lobby. The free wifi was very slow and it was not possible to view images in the internet.
These are my wish list for improvement of the super deluxe room:
1/ A small cupboard to hang clothes and a desk or flat top to place our stuff. There was enough space for these.
2/ Relocate the mirror which became hidden when clothes were hung on the railing above.
3/ Provide a mirror above the wash basin in the bathroom.
4/ Upgrade the wifi to a higher speed.
On the whole we were happy with the hotel. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful.

Sangat Tidak Berpuas Hati ! Sangat Kecewa Dengan Salah Seorang Dari 2 Staff Yg Bertugas Pada Shift Petang... Saya Sampai Hotel, Dan Bertanyakan Tentang Teksi Untuk Pagi Esok Nak Ke Pengkalan Alor Gajah ... Boleh Staff Jawab Xada No Telefon Taxi Sudah Di Buang, Apa Perasaan Anda Bila Di Jawab Begitu Sedangkan Anda Memang Betul2 Hendak Menggunakan Taxi... Sayang Hotel Baru Cantik Strategik Berhampiran Dengan Alor Gajah Sentral,Bersebelahan Dgn Kedai Makan , Family Store... Harap Di Perbaiki Lagi....

i had the misfortune of locking myself out of my apartment in Alor Gajah and decided to try spending the night at this Hotel
this shop lot hotel looked quite clean and reliable upon first entering. i asked the lobby for the price of a room and he said IT DEPENDED ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE STAYING IN IT. to my knowledge, i have never heard of the price of a room being adjusted based on the no. of occupants.
not impressed, i said only 1 person staying. he quoted thw price of RM 110 for the smallest room in thw hotel. when i looked at the room rate display case on the registration counter, the price quited was RM89... that was zinger number 2
lastly the man behind the counter says since its single occupancy the price can be REDUCED FURTHER since i won't be using TOO MUCH BEDDING (????!!!!)
i wasnt impressed by this and left to look for another place to sleep.
if you are visiting Alor Gajah u are better off putting up at A'Famosa resort. even in Malacca town, u can find A REAL HOTEL with a cheaper price. dont be conned by these people.

Sewa RM100/malam sangat mahal. Tidak berpatutan dengan facility yg ada di dlm bilik.
Bilik standard. Ruangan sempit. WiFi buruk. 3 tingkat tiada lift. Penat naik tangga turun naik. Tiada lemari pakaian.

The place looks new and tidy located at Alor Gajar town. Located at a new shoplot so dining is easy at walking distance. Price is affordable for budget travellers. With the place nearby to A Famosa resort will stay again in the future. Need to provide credit card payment systems to guests.
