We stayed at the kampong jmhoise for one night. Don't expect a warm welcome from the reluctant hotelier. Rooms were kampong style with AC, but not strong enough to cool the room in the day. It was cool enough with the AC on at night flight of stairs leading up the the rooms. With 3 steps down to the shower/ toilet. Double bed was soft and moved around like a boat in water. Room was acceptable and so was the bathroom. Don't expect much. Living area outside the room was provided with a hot and room temp water dispenser with coffee, tea, oats n biscuits. Told to do DIY roaming around the farm, so don't expect guided tour. Lots of dogs around so watch out those who do not like dogs. Entrance to the houses is hard to find. Will not stay again, even for free. Not much rise to do expect chat in the common area under the fan. Thankfully free mosquitoes. …

my family and I wanted a quite place to spend our holiday, and bingo! we managed to find Romax Farmstay where our stay was really peaceful, close to nature, and lots of privacy. Our host were superb and friend. I would definitely book again when we visit melaka
