I stayed here unexpectedly with my girlfriend during a storm and can't wait to go back already! The service was quite exceptionnal and Dan and Nicole went out of their way for us during our visit. The food was not only delicious but also great price as well, they are as good cooks as they are hosts. We stayed in... More

We are new to the area, having moved to Pointe Au Baril just a few months before. We have heard many good things about the Inn. Tonight we went up to see for our self's. We love the place. Had the pan fried pickerel. Was fantastic. We look forward to trying the upstairs fine dinning room in the spring. The... More

We picked the Britt Inn as we were visiting friends locally for the weekend. We checked in on Friday afternoon around 2:00 pm with little fuss (here's your key, there's your room) and didn't return until 11:00 pm. It was then we found the Inn locked up, lights all off, with no way to enter. We called them on my... More

My soon to be husband and I spent the night there and couldn't have picked a better place. The owners Dan and Nicole go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We had both lunch and dinner there and the food was excellent. We really treated ourselves with having the calamari and the steak dinner. Everything... More

I know...summer is over, and the boaters have gone home. However, the Britt Inn is anxious to serve! I spent this past week working in the Britt area, and thoroughly enjoyed my 4-night stay at the Inn, in Room #1. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Windows face north and south for cross-ventilation. At the south window is an old... More

We had dinner at the restaurant this summer and I left a jacket hanging on the back of my chair. It wasn't until 2 weeks after returning from our trip that I realized that I might have left my jacket at the Britt Inn. I called and spoke to Dan, the owner who said yes they had my jacket and... The inn seems popular with boaters and vacationers...saw quite a few families with children. We did not stay at the inn, so I am strictly writing about the restaurant/pub. On our way back from northern Ontario, we stopped here for the liver and onions dish after reading a compelling review in The Lonely Planet Guide of Canada. The restaurant is... More

We called to make a lunch reservation for 4 people for a Saturday in late July. We were told that the sunny, bright, refurbished, charming upper deck was only available for dinner. The only option for lunch was the downstairs pub, which is really appropriate for late spring and early fall. However, no one wants to eat in the basement... More
