A lovely pub set amongst some stunning scenery. Overlooking a village green. Good selection of real ales. Well worth the drive.

After a lovely walk around Elterwater we came across the Britannia inn,it was perfect for a lunch and pint. We all had sandwiches and a bowl of chips to share,the kids sandwich came with a banana , kitkat and crisps.
