The hotel management must be doing something right because the whole hotel runs like a military operation, but not in a cold remote way, rather an efficient, well machine. The hotel is spotless, minimalist, with sleek lines. Our room was had everything we could need (comfortable beds, choice of 5 types of pillows, modern bathroom, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and a safe )
Fresh fruit and bottle water in on arrival was a nice touch. Also robes and slippers.
We stayed on half board plus tariff : large selection of food available for buffet breakfast. Quality ingredients.
A choice of three restaurants for dinner, Greek, Japanese and international which changed each evening. Fabulous food, delicious and plentiful.
The bar area is comfortable and relaxed, tasteful live music, very enjoyable. Great bar staff.
The most important asset this hotel has is their staff; helpful, cheerful and enthusiastic, from the receptionists, waiting staff, house keeping to the managers, they all work together as a team.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary at the end off November. Just to chill and get away from it all. Certainly done that. From the minute we got off the bus and walked into the hotel till we got back on the bus. We certainly chilled out. Entering the hotel we were met by Leyla and were given a seat and a drink of ginger and cucumber water. Made welcome every day by all staff from morning to night. Even the manager and management team, took there time to introduce themselves which was also a special touch. Very helpful and not in your face all the time. Restaurant food was a good assortment of different types and desserts good as well. Special dinner nights is a must have experience especially Japanese. Even for our anniversary we had a bottle off cava left in the room. A very thoughtful touch. The rooms cleaned every day and special touches were made ie towels made into different designs. Evening service was also a good touch. The entertainment was confined to evenings in the bar. No karaoke no boom boom boom just classy and enjoyable and relaxing. We are definitely returning this year and have already booked it.

We spent a week in this lovely hotel. Staff very efficient and always with a smile and welcoming. Room was lovely and just as we’d seen on the internet. We just got back from 2 weeks at the Ivi Mare. Overall, the hotel is very clean and the staff - particularly the maids, lifeguard and bell boy provided excellent service.
We went for bed and breakfast as we planned to have a few dinners out at the harbour. We did however, feel like the lunch menu by the pool was very limiting and didn’t provide a lot of vegetarian options. We saw some wraps being brought out to other guests and when I tried to order it the server told me it’s for all inclusive only.
As this is a new hotel there were a few teething problems. The first is that they were way under staffed. Particularly around the pool area, they needed at least another 2 servers around the pool as it was very busy while we were there. The service in the evenings at the restaurants were also very poor. We only ate at the hotel restaurants 3 times during the 2 weeks as each time we were there for more than 2 hours on each occasion but it was mainly us waiting for menus.. waiting for food.. waiting for the bill. We would have eaten at the hotel restaurants a lot more if the service wasnt so slow as we found the food really good. They play music around the pool but it is very inconsistent on when it comes on. Sometimes it would come on in the morning and other times it wouldn’t come on until the afternoon. We felt as though the pool deck could have been swept regularly.. we noticed lots of soil and ants around our sunbeds on many of the days we were there. One day there were so many ants and dirt we had to ask the lifeguard to clean it for us, not a big deal but from a 5 star hotel you would expect the pool area to be spotless. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to have assigned sunbeds and we noticed many couples would get up early to reserve the same sunbeds everyday anyways. It just saves us getting up early to ensure we have the sunbed we want, also with covid it makes more sense to do this. Also, it would be good to have a designated smoking area instead of allowing everyone to smoke anywhere by the pool. It became very annoying as we were trying to dodge the smokers when getting a bed and yet we always ended up near people who smoke. Again, we never experienced this issue when at a 5 star hotel.
It is a very beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Due to the issues mentioned above, I would say that this is currently a 4 star hotel with the potential to be 5 star. We have been to other 5 star hotels in Paphos and we just felt like this didn’t meet the same standards.
Nonetheless, we still had a lovely 2 weeks away and felt very lucky to get away during everything that has happened this year. So thank you to the Ivi Mare team for all the hard work!

On New Year Eve 2020 we were guests for 1 night at Louis Ivi Mare hotel in Paphos and were invited to New Year’s Eve Cocktail Party at the lobby area with sparkling wine and canapes. It was pleasant for us, also we watch a champagne pyramid - super smart and cheerful time. Newest hotel at Mediterranean Sea – all was good, clean and nicely. We have a dinner at Akakiko restaurant – fresh and delicious dishes, tasty sushi and big portion. We are thankful Akakiko for wide variety of dishes and service. Breakfast also was good, but one of the disappointments was lack of great brewed coffee and the hotel territory don't have greenery. In sea view room we have bathrobes, many towels, toothbrushes and paste and other toiletries. Thank you, all staff, for a pleasant New Year evening, for your caring hospitality.

We were offered this hotel after our booked hotel was late in opening due to Covid related low booking rate. Wow! Amazing communication and taxi was waiting for us for the short 20 min drive to the hotel. This was prepaid abs precooked but unfortunately, wasn’t the same for the return journey which left us scrambling for cash to pay the driver. Ivi Mare, this is a point you could take up abs sort for your guests ahead of time. Met by very friendly reception and booked in by Eleanor who is a real asset to the hotel and visible in every customer service area, from reception to the restaurant to walkabout greeting around the pool. Our room was seafacing and roomy, everything very clean and functional. Good size TV, slightly frustrating trying to watch something during the evening as selection in English is limited and we were trying to avoid the news! We never tired of the all inclusive selection of food and each night was a different theme, and it all tasted good and individual flavours were great. We tried of of the other restaurants but preferred the choice in Palettes. Desserts were sublime, ice cream and cream/custard were the only things we missed but there was always a selection of baked or set puddings and lots of fresh fruit. The service in the restaurant was so friendly and helpful, everyone we spoke to took time to engage with us and we enjoyed hearing their stories. The pool is the best pool ever, huge 56m and the lifeguard works so hard to keep the pool area neat and tidy, he keeps a check on guests and sees off non-guests politely, he rolls the good sizes lounger towels and always has a ready smile and willingness to talk to the guests if they take the time to talk to him. The waiters and waitresses working tirelessly around the pool, always with a smile, thank you! We wanted for nothing, we left feeing relaxed and reenergised after a tough couple of years. First adult only holiday, I think it’s the way to go.

We decided to treat ourselves to a bit of luxury and picked the Ivi Mare. On arrival we were greeted by Sandra on Reception, she was very helpful, courteous and advised us that we required and further assistance just to phone the desk. We found this to be a theme that continued throughout the hotel staff and made our stay very pleasurable. The room was spotless as was the bathroom and was cleaned on a daily basis also the Dining area was cleaned after Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The outside area was lovely with a huge pool and plenty of space between sunbeds and towels were readily available. We went Bed and Breakfast but on reflection should have gone All Inclusive although there was not too much of a selection from what people told us they had the same evening meal three times but of course that's all down to personal choice. Maybe an idea to have an option for poolside snacks for people who aren't on the All Inclusive package as only full meals were available at lunch time and that proved a challenge !! Finally a special mention for Eleanor, Vlad and Thanasis who helped in the Dining area, helping us keep our room on prior to departure and resolving meal delays they are a credit to the Hotel, we look forward to hopefully coming back soon. This hotel is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The staff at the Ivi Mare make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive, with your luggage whisked away to your room, we were very late, nearly midnight and we had Sandwiches, Fruit and a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room. Our room was modern, spacious and spotlessly clean with a fantastic sea view, and good air conditioning. The pool area is spotless, plenty of beds and fresh towels, Pool bar/Bar staff are excellent, bringing a good selection of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day, just put your feet up and chill ! There is a good selection of premium alcohol included in the All Inclusive. Restaurant staff as all other staff are friendly and helpful, there is always a very good selection of tasty fresh food available. The hotel is very COVID friendly with lots of sanitizer stations, all staff wearing masks etc. We had a wonderful holiday, thank you to all of the Team!

We chose this hotel after great deliberation and are delighted with our 8 night stay.
Apart from being the "newest" hotel here in Paphos, what sets this apart is the excellent service and the dedicated staff.
Ms. Layla : an exuberant personality to talk to and tap into her "energy" !
Mr. Daniel at the reception : soft spoken and truly went out of his way to help us out.
Ms. Vianna : an observant supervisor with an "instantaneous" response.
Ms. Sofia at the Pallette : quick in service.
Ms. Katarina at the reception : always polite and attentive; just finished high school. We wish her a brilliant future.
Mr. Spyros immediately responds to any request.
The lady chef and the 2 chefs at the "live station" at breakfast who remember how we want our omelettes !
I may add that EACH & EVERY staff member is dedicated to their job.
We always notice the staff cleaning and polishing the different areas of the hotel. Since the predominant color is white we saw a painter meticulously "touch-up" few patches !
The view from the bed of our deluxe ocean facing room gives the feeling that one is on a cruise !
The 45 minutes walk from the hotel to the harbour along the sea shore is refreshing.
We booked on their webpage which offers different deals and these are revised periodically. Generally speaking, the earlier you book the better the deal.
All this is managed by Mr. Christos Zorpas (Manager), a highly committed family man,who takes care to ensure that each and every guest is made to feel "special".
We were on half-board plus and the food is more than plentiful.

We were two girls arriving for a small getaway of 5 days. First time in Paphos and at this hotel and certainly not last. The hotel is newly built and you can see that all the personal takes care of it as if it was their own home!. Starting from the beautiful and spacious rooms, towel exchange twice a day, delicious breakfast and dinner made with the freshest produce and even the small chocolate given in the evening, we absolutely fell in love with the hotel. The staff is multi- lingual, informative and very keen to assist in any matter. There are plenty of hotels in Paphos but only here you will get a 5 star hotel with a family touch and attention.
