Just spent the night at Knockderry with a friend. I can honestly hand on heart say it was in my top three of the best Hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were exemplary, we are very inquisitive and they answered all of our questions without exception. (These were questions including history of the hotel and surrounding area and the...

We stayed overnight here to celebrate my Fiance's birthday. We stayed in Room 1 which had a four poster bed and a view of the Loch. From our arrival to checking out the next day we were delighted with everything - the room and the view were both fantastic, the food was delicious and very well presented and the staff...

Wanting an overnight stay to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary, out of the ten hotels we had selected, we opted for Knockderry because of the very good reviews. It surpassed our expectations. We had chosen Room 5 as we had been informed it had contempory furnishing . It was very comfortable despite the odd shaped shower. It has, however, no...

Really very charming hotel, with a nice peaceful setting. Room was clean and cosy and exactly as expected. Nice and cosy by the fire in the evening. Would recommend if you need a break away for relaxation and a quiet stay. Worth noting it is considerably off the beaten track, some of the hills are incredibly steep and driving back...

This hotel is a little gem. We stayed for two nights, a romantic little place. It is located right at the waters edge. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much bother. I would go there for the food alone, even if you had to sleep in tents.

We stayed at the Knockderry House Hotel one day as we made our way through Scotland. It has been renovated with exacting attention to detail. Our room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Dinner was absolutely exquisite with impeccable service. We enjoyed speaking with the gracious owners and watching their dogs run around and play. There isn't much in walking distance...

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous scenery, stunning fireplaces with roaring fires. Welcoming staff and a modern room. On the first night we stayed we had lovely soup in the drawing room shortly after we arrived, Laura was helpful and friendly. Later we had a gorgeous 2 course dinner sitting by the open fire, the service was great and food delicious. We...

We had a lovely meal here. Nice, friendly atmosphere; good wine, good food. The service was professional and very quick. If I have one criticism, it would have been nice to have more draught beers on offer.

The Knockderry House Sunday dinner deal is amazing. Book directly on their site for a room rate of roughly 125 pounds and receive 95 pounds worth of food and alcohol credit in their great restaurant. Just a note, they don't let you drink your own alcohol in your room for some reason. Other than that, great place, and we really...
