We have stayed at BOMC a number of times over the past 5 years. It has been, & remains, a favourite destination, beautifully situated in a vastly underated scenic & wildlife wonderland. But many places can tick boxes of beautiful locations & quality accomodation, & what really differentiates a memorable luxury stay from the rest is the people looking after you. I don't know how manager, Graeme, has done it given the difficulties the pandemic has thrown in finding & retaining staff, but the team at BOMC were the best we have experienced at any time at the resort, & among th best we have experienced anywhere in our global travels. New head chef, Gilles, & his team, wowed us with a 5 course degustation showcasing native ingredients in beautiful, creative, & most importantly, delicious, dishes prepared with great passion & fun. One of the best meals we have had, anywhere, with Aaron providing fantastic personable & attentive service on all our nights at the restaurant. Other team members we should mention were Rianne & Danielle for their outstanding front office presence, & Emma for the spa treatments, but I don't want to exclude anybody as the whole team were imbued with a warm & welcoming attitude, combined with very high levels of attention & helpfulness. This is a truly magical part of New Zealand, able to thrill or enchant depending on your mood, and the team at BOMC take it to another level, making you feel at home, whilst indulging your every need.

Had an amazing day helicopter across from Wellington to Bay of Many Coves for a relaxing lunch. Food was superb, wine great and staff friendly and attentive. Stunning views and tranquil atmosphere. Have already booked to stay there in a few months time because it was so beautiful.

One of the most special things you can do is enjoy a helicopter ride from Queens Wharf and 30 minutes later land at our private pad here at the Bay of Many Coves - especially when the weather plays ball! Thank you guys for coming over and sharing our part of the world - and I do hope you daughter did well at the competitions :-)

Fab 3 night stay with the BOMC team. Very fortunate to have a ‘special’ five course dinner with the new resident Chef. We had to leave super early on our last day and the team got up early to ensure we had awesome breakfast and see us off. Thanks BOMC. Highly recommend.

Graeme Smith, General Manager, answers my phone call in a bright cherry voice. It was 7.30 pm on a Saturday night and we had just arrived in Wellington from Bendigo in Australia that afternoon. With no plans for the coming week we decided to call The Bay of Many Coves Resort to check availability. By 11.00 the next morning we are settled into the resort eagerly awaiting the next 4 days in Queen Charlotte Sound. Surely one of the most beautiful places in the world! Graeme had swung into action following my Saturday night call organised a chopper flight and accommodation in what seemed like ‘the blink of an eye’ and so our truly memorable experience at this very special place had begun. For the next 4 days we felt like we were in ‘paradise’, at home, and with family. Graeme’s cleverly constructed team welcomed us with open arms looking after us in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Graeme is fun and engaging while efficiently overseeing every detail. Riane and Danielle in front of house leave no stone unturned. Phil in the kitchen prepared beautiful food and Jaime efficiently attended to the detail around our dining experience. Rod and partner tended the native garden and general maintenance around the resort. Emma provided fabulous spa treatments and Pilates on the deck to start the day. Together, the team provided an amazingly relaxed and special holiday. We are looking forward to returning to this stunning place and we take away wonderful memories of our time in The Bay of Many Coves. Thank you Graeme and co - you should be very proud of your contribution to New Zealand tourism and all who have the pleasure of staying with you. Ros and John Bradbury Bendigo Australia

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay. The staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful and went out of our way to make the 3 days very special for us. The food was spectacular and we were blown away by the hospitality and generosity of the manager. Meeting the other guests at the management drinks was lovely as we bumped into them on the tracks. All in all this was a memorable experience for us to explore our own back yard in New Zealand- no need to travel overseas!

Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We have recently appointed a new Executive Chef and Gilles is doing a remarkable job with the team in the kitchen. I appreciate you acknowledging their work. Having a glass of wine with, and getting to know more about our guests is important to us. We get to learn so much and it’s also an opportunity to share some of the magic of Marlborough with you during your stay. I look forward to seeing you back again soon.
