After a full day tour on a boat, this was our last stop. We had and hour and a half to do as we wished. Beautiful beach! Not many people. They have good food and great drinks available for purchase. There are also lounge chairs on the beach to sit in. Great scenery and very relaxing!

Spent a beautiful 4 hours on Koh Rang Yai doing absolutely nothing. Staying at The Village on Coconut Island, it's only a 10 minute longtail boat ride to Rang Yai but it feels a world away. Rang Yai has food and a bar available so make sure you take some baht to grab a feed and a drink, reasonably priced...

Stopped here on the final leg of a speedboating/snorkeling tour of the Phi Phi islands starting from the Royal Phuket Marina. This small island is only 10 minutes from the marina so very convenient to reach by speed or long boat. The beach is typical soft white sand with great swimming and no rocks to stub your toes on. The...

We did the Phi Phi island snorkel tour which was really good. However the best swim we had was at Rang Yai Island which was quite close the mainland of Phuket Town. The venue was overwrought with holidays makers, however the deck chairs and the cocktails made it all worth while. Phang Nga Eco Tourism and Sea Cave Canoe looked...

We stopped off on Rang Yai on our way back to Phuket from Phi Phi Islands and it was absolutely stunning! Would definitely love to go back again. Seriously but, go here, it is sooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful and there are little hermit crabs too which are cute

Had lunch here on a way sailing to Phuket. The only place were cocktails were cocktails with alcohol and fresh juices were juice made from real fruits. Friendly and professional service. If don't want to want to wait for your food behind the table jump into very nice waters just next to the table. Lovely and very nice place.

If you like quiet places or happen to live on busy Phuket proper this little island could be a perfect day out. Some even have wedding parties here. You can come on an organized tour, which will cost more or try your luck talking individually to a long boat skipper. The last option will have an added bonus of travelling...

If you're happy on the island you're on, there's no need to venture to Rang Yai, there is absolutely nothing special to see here. Staff at the little restaurant / bar are very friendly and toilets are clean but that's about it. It's pleasant but nothing special.

We had a full day here, and after arriving by speedboat we unloaded and chilled on the White sandy beach. The stunning blue water was great to swim in and we even saw a turtle as we were paddling along on a kayak. Truly a fabulous corporate chillaxing day that we didn't want to end

We spent about 4 hours on Koh Rang Yai, it was ok but not something I would do again. The beach was not pleasant to walk on as it was filled with shells and sharp objects....the water was relatively clear. There is only one restaurant and the food was average at best......
