We took two adjoining (optional) rooms over two nights for a family wedding. We were greeted with a warm welcome from our hosts, followed by a pot of tea in our room. The first floor accommodation has a well equipped kitchenette which is perfect for chilling wine and making your own hot drinks or heating food. Our bedroom was stylishly...

We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday whilst going to a wedding. Our welcome was warm and with a welcome offer of a pot of tea. Our bed enveloped us in sweet slumber while breakfast was local produce including home made bread, jam and compote. Treat yourself and give this a try.

We stayed at this B&B for one night only due to attending a wedding in the local area. Both Susie & Paul were very friendly & welcoming & couldn't do enough to make our stay a good one! We stayed in the Windmill Room which was on the ground floor in the cottage! The room was perfect, large & decorated...

Well for a family that is used to staying in Hotels, Primrose House was certainly a good surprise. My room was in the main house was very bright & well presented I also had the pleasure of using a huge bathroom that in itself was immaculate and outstanding. This is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. We had 3 rooms between my family and everyone loved them. There was a lovely warm welcome when we arrived, breakfast was delicious, bed was very comfy and the bathroom was huge with a lovely bath. We bought some of their honey to bring home as it was so nice....

Stayed for two nights in one of the cottages. Clean comfortable with everything you need. Greeted with a tray of tea or coffee. Friendly proprietors, breakfast served in main house. Bacon, eggs and honey all own produce. Walking distance to a pub serving good basic evening meals. Altogether a very enjoyable experience and would use again.

We travelled to Nottingham for our Grandson's wedding and Primrose House was the icing on the cake. The 4 rooms we booked were lovely, clean and comfortable. Two in the main house and two in the renovated buildings. Our's was The Blue room overlooking the garden and the dovecote, not to mention chickens and turkeys. It was quiet and cosy...

The title says most of it but misses out the very friendly welcome that we received. Rooms are very attractive and breakfast is gargantuan (unless you show some restraint which is difficult in the face of great sausages and bacon). Great places to have dinner nearby so "what's not to like?"

My daughter and I spent the weekend at Primrose as we were attending a wedding. The welcome couldn`t have been better as Paul was in attendance as soon as the car drew up. He carried my bags up the stairs as we were staying upstairs in one of the cottages. Tea and coffee were offered but we needed to chill....
