Newly refurbished to a very high standard , Billesley Manor is set in 11 acres of stunning parkland and manicured gardens, Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa is a stunning 16th century Elizabethan manor house. Located just 3 miles from Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, this historic property is steeped in history and charm. Once referenced in the Domesday Book, the grounds feature an 11th century church and an ornate topiary garden, which was planted 125 years ago to replicate a chess board. Bedrooms combine traditional character with 21st century luxuries, options include a variety within the manor house or Cedar barns. The Stuart Restaurants and Great Hall offer the perfect backdrop for dinner with oak panelling, original fireplaces, first class food and attentive service. The Spa has everything you need to unwind and keep fit, relax in the beauty rooms and take advantage of the extensive range of Decleor therapy. When you spend the night at Billesley, you are sleeping where several, significant historical events occurred. It was here that Shakespeare put ink to paper and wrote sonnet ‘As You Like It’ and his granddaughter wed and it is reputed that he did too when he married Anne Hathaway. Enjoy all that Billesley Manor has to offer in this stunning setting.

My friend and I stayed at Billesley Manor for a couple of nights to celebrate our joint birthdays. We had a lovely time there. The location is stunning with the grounds of the manor beautifully maintained. The hotel itself is attractive and well cared for. By far our highest praise goes to the friendly and professional staff who all made us feel so welcome. We hope to return again before too long.

A quaint old building with lovely food and gardens. We did not try the Spa. The staff were very helpful and freindly. The building is a bit of a maze so took a couple of goes to get the route to and from our room in our heads but quire fun. Bar had nice beers and a wide selection of spirits, though I did not try these. The local beer was excellent.
