This hotel/lodge is in a private forest area. the hotel is very good. the staff is very friendly and always ready to help you out. if you are a pure vegeterian/jain traveler than...

My stay at Mabula was one of the highlights of my stay in South Africa. From a sighting of the Big 5 and numerous other species of animals and birds to quad biking along some forest paths, it will always remain an unforgettable adventure. The team of field guides or rangers is knowledgeable and that makes the safari experience that...

The setting of the lodge is nice and the facilities are stylish and very well maintained. It is situated in a reserve where self-driving is not allowed, so you need to book game drives. Aside from these, there is a small spa, pool, tennis courts, bar and gift shop. Quad biking and horseback riding are other options. There are few...

Hubby and I were here from 9/11-9/13 with Gate1 Tour Company. I had the most amazing experience here!!!The rooms were so beautiful and spacious!! It literally blew me away. I loved the fact that I would see different (Harmless) animals around the lodge. The game drives were just amazing. During the evening drive, we would stop for wine, beer, juice..etc,...

The units are neat and clean and the view is amazing, but unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with our stay. We arrived on friday evening to the surprise that our '6 sleeper' that was booked for 3 married couples was actually a 2 bedroom and two people had to sleep on couches.... Not sleeper couches normal very uncomfortable couches....

I can't give enough praise to this amazing lodge. From the moment we pulled into the gates of the lodge, we felt very welcomed. Staff greeted us with friendly smiles and drinks. We stayed in a room not connected to the main hotel. This is probably the only down side, as it was a bit scary walking to and fro...
