Lovely views over Plymouth & Plymouth Hoe so ask for a front room with a balcony if they're available. Wonderful and very helpful staff. If you want a meal...

absolutely lovely staff, Beth in particular never stopped smiling and along with her colleagues could not do enough for us. Food was excellent, best steak ever and good vegetarian options. Relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Booked into a dog friendly room and imagined it to be maybe not so well maintained but we were pleasantly surprised to find the room most comfortable, clean and well equipped. All the staff we encountered were extremely polite and helpful. The food was very good and all in all we had a very enjoyable couple of days.

The room was great as usual with spectacular views and a cute balcony. (my only small criticism was there were lots of cigarette ends in the drain...

Great stay at the Moorland Hotel, they were hugely welcoming of the dogs who also really enjoyed their stay. The food was outstanding and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Well done... we will be back and we will recommend.

We booked and paid for four nights stay in March 2017 in June 2016. Whilst acknowledging that the terms state no refund, we had to cancel one month before the planned visit because our dog developed a bladder problem which will not get better. As we explained to the hotel in February we did not think it fair to bring...
