Wonderful family vacation. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of; especically since we were travelling with an infant. Our little one was very happy in the push carts available at the kids club! A special thank you to Sergio and Ulises who kept us well served at the kids club end of the resort.

This was our 3rd trip to OCT but our first with children. We were not disappointed!! There are a lot of reviews talking about AC, having to wear masks, and not as much overall freedom. If you can’t appreciate a mid-pandemic trip that might have a few inconveniences then you should stay home. The resort was clean and beautiful as always, it never lacks. Keke was our butler and he was amazing!! He made all our reservations, was present the entire trip all we had to do was text him and he immediately got us what we needed. He also arranged fresh flowers and a surprise birthday breakfast and trip to playa for my family of 9! All of the bar tenders were fast, polite and gracious! They never gave you the impression that they were overwhelmed or understaffed like some resorts have. They truly made it seem like you were their only patron! Yes the ac was a little lacking… it’s mexico in august!! Yes they made us wear masks indoors …it made us feel better as we had children that can’t be vaccinated yet. The beach and seaweed have been amazing on trips and awful on trips…again it’s Mexico in the summer no one can control this and the resort worked hard everyday to try and minimize it! We will definitely be back again and again and we will ask for Keke!!…

Food was terrible with no variety and no taste. Fruit, which we look forward to enjoying, was tasteless and the same daily. Guests handling food in front of employees with no consequence. Tongs dropped on floor by guest, replaced on food in front of employee. Dirty grounds. Personal music coming from all directions. No peace and quiet. No quality control. Room in disrepair. Took 9 days to change the shower light. Save yourself disappointment and book elsewhere.

Leaving today to check out one of the sister resorts that we’ve never been to before. We love Ocean Coral & Turquesa and are sad to be leaving. As always, we were so grateful that Jose Luis Cen, our favorite beach concierge was there to make our pool time great. All of the staff here is fantastic.

This place is an introverts nightmare. The staff who work off commission were there at the resort everyday. Instead of feeling like "these people are working here to give me options" it felt like ducking loan sharks when you owed them money. Lol. Admittedly I am on the shy side and I understand, the hustle is real, but like I said as an introvert it was hard to relax and let go in that environment. If that wouldn't bother you, then the resort itself is okay. Not as high value as promised, so make sure to get it on a deal. There are much nicer places at the same price point! The staff in the restaurants were wonderful and friendly, that was a plus. The staff at the bars and everywhere else were less so, however they probably have to put up with belligerent people all day so I give them a bit of a pass. lol the spa is not worth the price (I have worked in a couple) however the staff are friendly. Overall, I did not enjoy my time here, I would not recommend. It was too uncomfortable in ways, and the quality of the resort did not make up for that. …

First of all this resort is no way a 4+ star, I give it a 3. Upon arrival they tell you nothing. Had to make reservations for al a cart. Rooms are old, bed is hard, Garden view “palm trees” buffet meh

The Brazilian restaurant is great Carlos the server was amazing. The pool bar with Genaro and Gustavo they are the best. Brazilian was the best in resort thanks Carlos followed by the Mexican and Sensi. The resort was great. The are trying with sewed removal.
