We really loved our stay at this campground. We were in a 24' Class C and our spot was really nice. The trees are so tall that there is more shade than sunshine, but that's perfect in early summer. The facilities were well maintained and clean. The people at the check-in kiosk and the small store were super friendly. There...

My mama booked us a couple nights here during my first visit back home to California in six years (I've moved to England). As this was the first time my British husband had set foot on American soil, I'm so glad we visited this amazing place! We liked it so much, we opted to stay an extra night. I wish...

My husband and I drove from Minnesota to run the Big Sur International Marathon, we had originally book a site at a state park. But because of a nasty wet winter all the state parks were closed. We were able to get a site here, site 11, right on the river. It's one of the few sites that has a...

We have stayed at Big Sur Campground & Cabins for 17 years now and we have always had an amazing stay. The RV sites are well maintained and have plenty of room. The public restrooms are the cleanest I have ever experienced - anywhere! The staff is always so friendly and accommodating - ever-ready with directions and suggestions for things...

We stayed on one of the cabins and had a great time. The kids loved the freedoms to roam and being able to go tubing in the river. The staff can not do enough to make your stay everything you want it to be.

We stayed two nights in cabin 65B. The cabin is adorable, lovely river view, comfy bed and clean little bathroom. Would definitely come back! When we visited the trails were closed so we couldn't go hiking, but it was lovely to sit on our porch by the fire and listen to birdsong. Idyllic.

Shear beauty at it's California Coast best. Huge Redwoods, rugged shorelines and crashing surf. The smell of pine and ocean fill the air. Many, many great hikes from beginner gazing to tough climbs. There's also very good scuba but not for novices, Hard to get in and out but one in the ocean is breathtaking...like the land. The camp ground...

Had a terrible experience last night at this campsite! When we arrived the guy at the front desk gave us a late arrivals form and told us to pay in the morning so we set up camp and went to bed. In the middle of the night, at about 11 o'clock, workers from the campsite knocked on our door insisting...

Pulling up to the camp ground we were greeted by a very welcoming and friendly staff! We were first time RV'ers and the grounds had just we what we were looking for in amenities. Tucked within the vast redwood trees, there was quite and calm away from the busy highway. Even though the place was full it was still quite...

I am one of those people who always finds the positive in everything and if you look at my reviews, you will see that I rarely have anything really negative to say. I really make an attempt to be objective about my experiences. The three days I spent at Big Sur Campground and Cabins was without doubt the worst experience...
