Just returned from a 1 night stay at Dovecote barn. We stayed in the ground floor suite 2 adults and 1 toddler. We brought our own cotbed and had ample space to put our toddler within the suite. The barn is warm and cosy and David and Karen are very welcoming good hosts. Breakfast was amazing starting off with a... More

Stayed for one night in May this year and been meaning to write this review since! What a absolutely beautiful place, being into dogs as they are we got talking with David and his wife and ended up having a tour of their lovely home. There isn't many places where you end up chatting to the owners in their kitchen.... More

I spent one night at Dovecote Barn and had a fantastic experience. David was extremely obliging, the suite was spacious and comfortable, and the food was excellent (both dinner and breakfast). I highly recommend it.

I stayed here sadly for just the one night. David went well beyond the call of duty when he had to come and rescue me when I got terribly lost because of roadworks (and a poor sense of direction!) on my arrival. Its not often a B and B owner will come out in their car to find you lost... More

We stayed only one night but it wasn't long enough! A self contained luxury accommodation with sitting / dining room, hall, bedroom, bathroom and off street parking. We were made to feel very welcome by our host David. Breakfast was exceptional. Would certainly book again. Ideal for the University or like us attending a reception at Sutton Bonington Hall.

I was travelling in the Midlands and found this beautiful property in the village of Sutton Bonington within easy reach of both Nottingham and Loughborough and the M1. It is a converted barn and is very well appointed and well run as a boutique B&B. A beautiful room and an excellent breakfast was enjoyed. I would certainly return.
