I recently stayed with some friends in a cottage at Cedar Creek overlooking the winery. It was a very comfortable place with a fantastic verandah to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the morning and a glass or two of wine in the evening. It is a great base to explore the Hunter Valley from. Or if you...

We recently booked a night in the rustic style goldsmith cottage, which we enjoyed so much, we stayed an extra night. The hospitality of the owner, Laura, and staff was faultless, going above and beyond the expected. The port, chocolates and fresh breakfast basket, hand delivered by Laura, were a welcome surprise. The 2 permanent house guests, dogs, Ellie-May and...

It's a very nice and comfortable winery. Broad range of wine selections. The best is they're organic winery without using any chemicals on their grapes. Nice and friendly staffs that gave you a wonderful tasting experience.

We had a fabulous weekend visit for the opening of Sculpture in the Vineyards. Shadforth Cottage has a wonderful view from the verandah of overlooking the vines of Stonehurst Winery. The beds were comfortable & the breakfast basket was bountiful. Highly recommend sipping delicious port beside the fire. The organic wine tasting was superb so we stocked our cellar. The...

Recently stayed 2 nights in Goldsmith's cottage. Enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the grapevines. Cottage was comfortable & breakfast provisions were good. Cooking appliances could do with some updating, especially portable cooktop! The bed was extremely comfy & felt like good quality linen. General cleanliness could have been better, eg. cobwebs, floor, garden area. Enjoyed walking, although there wasn't any clearly...

We attended the long table luncheon that they do every year. Ended up sitting next to the owners who are absolutely lovely! Not only is the wine fantastic but they put on one heck of a luncheon. Their farm is well looked after and you can tell they have put their heart and soul into making great wine and ensuring...

2nd visit to this gorgeous little winery in a short timeframe as it has been a long time since I found a winery with so many wines I like! Last visit I purchased their 2009 methods chsmpenoise that disappeared very fast indeed, 2007 late harvest semillon that was. The perfect accompaniment to a spicy Thai meal devoured at Blue Thai,...

What an incredibly beautiful place to stay! So peaceful and quiet, only the Kangaroos and horses for company. The cabin was all wood and so so cosy. The complimentary port was a lovely touch, as was the very sweet breakfast kit. This was probably the most special place I've ever stayed, could not recommend it highly enough. Be warned that...

Firstly, let me say that I admire what the owners have achieved there. Vineyard, cottages, farm animals. It's hard work. I also know I was envisioning a few nights in a beautiful bush setting in a cosy cottage (I expected a home away from home). It was very clean, provided a generous breakfast hamper and on the day we arrived...
