We had the perfect weekend stay with Jayne & Bill. Location: The Norton is great for Symonds Yat, Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye and the surrounding areas. It is set in a secluded part of Whitchurch, so it's lovely and undisturbed. There is some road noise but this didn't bother us at all. Perfect walking distance to 'The Old Court' for excellent food...

The house was lovely and the host.....Jane and Bill, were both friendly and made us feel very welcome, even providing Bills superb Lemon drizzle cake on our arrival. Superb house and I even had tears in my eyes when I entered our bedroom because it was so lovely. I felt like I'd stepped into a Jane Austin novel, the four...

Had a lovely one night stay before a canoe trip. The bedroom was beautiful with lots of thoughtful extras to make it feel like a home from home. Breakfast was great, excellent choice and quality, no cheap cereals, and delishious home cooked blueberry pancakes. We booked this B&B to stay for the 11th and 12th July prior to our daughters' wedding being held in Monmouth on the weekend of July 12th. We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome from Bill who had tea and chocolate brownies waiting. Delicious. Our rooms were more than adequately sized as they needed to be where the hairdresser...

This is an excellent B & B with a warm welcome and nothing too much trouble. The breakfast choices are amazing, especially the croissant stuffed with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, baked ham and egg and OMG the blueberry pancakes with maple syrup were to die for. We would love to come back and have a look at Monmouth, so...

What a lovely place! This is a really old house - I think it said it was built in 1650. It's on the old Monmouth Road and the new A40 is nearby but it's quiet at night. Upon arrival I was shown into the lovely sitting room by Jayne and offered tea and homemade cake. Yum! My room was delightful...

Norton House is a wonderful old house that has been very tastefully furnished and decorated. We were welcomed into a comfortable sitting room and given home made lemon drizzle cake and tea, then shown to our room which was immaculate and very comfortable with two very comfortable beds, two arm chairs, facilities to make any type of tea you might...
