Was here over the weekend (20th - 21st Oct 2013) for a family & friends gathering. We got the whole resort to ourselves. We enjoyed every bit of it over the past 2 days. The hike up Broga Hill at 5.30am was steep and challenging on their very own private trail. The resort offers 3 different types of accommodations such as luxury bungalow (4-6pax), dorms (12pax) and camping tents (2pax). Both bungalows and dorms are equipped with air-condition & bathroom/toilet except for camping tents which is equipped with a stand fan and 2 single beds (yes beds as in real beds which you do not have to sleep on the hard ground)

The resort has many activities to offer such as wall climbing, abseiling, flying fox, kayaking, water polo, jungle trekking, broga hill hiking & etc. Our package came with a night stay in the camping tents which includes welcome drink, dinner & breakfast. Our activities include abseiling, wall climbing, flying fox, kayaking & broga hill hike.

The resort is not only best for company team building event but also a small gathering with friends/family for a weekend getaway from the city life to enjoy the tranquility of the wilderness. I will definitely come back again. I would like to thank Mr. Lam and his team for their great hospitality.

We had an amazing one-night stay in Paradise Valley Broga. With a group of 27 people, kids from 5-17 years old, we tried wall climbing, kanoeing, and the flying fox. All of us absolutely enjoyed it. We had camp fire after a decent dinner and even tried karaoke. In the morning, 5.30am, we decided to go for Broga hill hiking to see the sunrise. It was a bit adventurous as most of us didn´t take a flashlight, but we had guides. The trail leads directly from the resort, which is very convenient. The only problem was a windy night, which couldn't have been affected by the staff anyway. Since we slept in tents, it was quite noisy when the wind blew into the cover of the tent. But we survived this small discomfort, it was fine for one night. Otherwise the tent and all facilities were very clean. They provide a bed with a matrace, pilow and towels. The staff was very helpfull, took care of us and assisted us during all of the activities. There is a small football pitch which the kids loved. This trip was so enjoyable and just a few km from KL. I absolutelly recommend it ! And don´t forget to try their jackfruit!!!

It was over the Raya holidays that I planned to do something outdoor near home, so I Googled and found Paradise Valley. It's indeed a great discovery as Paradise Valley offers everything I need for a 2D/1N stay outdoor. I like this place because:-

1) It's like a free and easy camping style. No pitching required to be able to enjoy a sturdy tent c/w twin beds, fan and a power point. Also provided are towels, blankets, thrash bin, bottled waters and cloth hangers inside. Excellent.

2) Washrooms/ Bathrooms are new, near and sufficient.

3) Staff/ facilitators are extra friendly and helpful with briefing before each activities, ensuring safety, helping to get on kayaks, helping to make sure everyone catch up and maneuovre well in the dark during the hike. Activities are well organized without long wait/queue.

4) The packages are reasonable and the cost includes exciting activities like wall climbing, flying fox, kayaking and hiking.

5) offers refreshing drinks and food, really free and easy as if you leave everything to them and enjoy all the activities available

6) Broga is an orchard town and this place is not an exclusion to tasting local fruits.

Areas of improvement:
1) Perhaps climbing shoes are provided for the wall climb as it can be slippery climbing barefeet after a downpour. Else, prepare cloths for each climber to dry their feet/ shoes before climbing.

2) To do housekeeping of the washrooms more frequently.

3) More responsive on the online booking/queries as my friend who did the booking had to make a call when he didn't hear from the management within 2 days.

This place is worth a revisit with visiting friends or with family members, young and old. Keep up the good work!

I actually stayed for 1 night. The next day, we hiked Broga Hills. It was very tiring. Although few of my friends got cut, the view at the peak is awesome. Everything was ok especially the flying fox. Fast and Scary.

We had a 2D1N stay in the camping tent. Our host was an energetic young lady which guided us with activities. I had my ever first wall climbing and flying fox with my daughter. It was a risk-taking activities yet thrilling and fun!! We also had kayaking in the late afternoon. The next morning, we had an early walk to Broga Hill to watch sun rise. The scene was breath-taking. The resort is clean especially the toilets are very hygiene. The team is very dynamic and friendly - always willing to guide you with the resort activities.
