Unpleasant odour in the ensuite bathroom and public bathroom. Low ceiling height in the public bathroom, myself, is 170 cm. The ceiling is probably 180cm maximum. The main hall has uneven vinyl laminate flooring because some parts of the floor had artificial grass underneath the vinyl floor. Pretty poor air conditioning to covered all the areas in the main hall. Transition between main hall, dining hall, and accommodation were uncovered, so you may get wet or very hot during rainy/sunny day. There is no bug zapper or mosquitoes flies trap at outdoor dining hall. You'll get very frustrated if you want to chill out or eat at that area next to pond view, especially at night time. All container rooms are terrible during midday, especially in such hot weather. The air condition releases a large amount of heat if you leave it on during sunny mid day. Personally, it's my first time seeing artificial grass as a bedroom floor, and large ants can be seen sometimes. It's not very comfy to walk on barefoot. Container room is not comfortable to stay . Not worth it.

Went there for a company trip with my husband and 4 year old. Checked in late and came in late for breakfast but lucky thing they still served us nasi lemak and teh tarik. We didn't join in the outdoor games but there are cats, ducks and geese that kids can look at. Stayed in the container room. Fortunately it was decent, comfortable with clean toilets. There's a TV showing a blurry TV3 channel but my kid enjoyed watching that. Air con was super cool at 17 degrees but we some how could not control the temperature with the remote control. Weather was wet, raining most of the time so the ground was soggy and muddy. Just walk around and look at the other participants playing the flying fox and archery. My husband went fishing. You need to pay extra for some of the activities that are not included in the package e.g. RM30 for kayak. Lunch was ok with thai green curry chicken and vegetables. Dinner was tou fu and rice with fried chicken. Next morning breakfast was fried mee hoon with sambal and bread with kaya that you can help yourself with. The other participants enjoyed playing in the pool and paintball. Better bring your own biscuits and packet drinks in case you get hungry at night. Also brought extra garbage bags to dispose of diapers and other food and drink packets. It was easy finding the place using Waze and there are some other fishing ponds and restaurants a few minutes drive away.

We had a full day session of team building here. The facilities are OK. The service in the Thai restaurant was slow but the food was tasty. However, one of the team games was unpleasant where we had to go swimming in the very dirty lake water. Most of us were itching after completing. Overall, I would hesitate to come back to this place or recommend others to join.

The management cannot explain the instructions in English which made it tough for my non-Malaysian colleagues to understand. Some station games took so long, there was a long queue. As a result, some teams finish very early and some took a very long time. After lunch, the final game involve crawling through dirty mud, endangering the lives of the participants. We also had to catch frogs. The cruelty to the frogs meant some of them died already. The planning was so haphazard, we were confused as to whether there was 1 or 2 games after lunch. Also, no one knew when it had ended.

We stayed in this very run down place for two nights and three days, I don't know how we survived. If not for the commitment to build an orang Asli house nearby and there was no other accommodation for us to move to.We arrived at the reception and were given our keys and drove straight to our villa .When we arrived at the front of the villa we saw this very old and unkept villa, uncut grass, dirty, and to be honest looks like a haunted house. I was thinking that there must be a mistake, so we drove back to the main entrance of the resort to confirm that it was our villa, YAP it was ! We struggled to open the front sliding door, it was rusty and covered in dirt. when we managed to open the door , the smell of dampness hit us. There was a dirty blue carpet, an orange settee badly stained mouldy walls and a TV covered in dust. There were three bedrooms, one with 3 beds, one with 2 beds and one with 1 queen size and 1 small single bed. Luckily we brought our own towels (those on the bed had seen better days) Two bathrooms, one of the bathrooms was so terrible that the shower head fell off on the secomd day, the sink when you brush your teeth you also wash your feet because it was leaking from the drainage pipes just below the sink ! We called reception and the man came and just moved the pipe because it slipped from the tapes that was holding it together The best part was the ceiling of one of the bedroom the ceiling board had slipped and there was a big gap and we could hear lots of running footsteps and scufflings ( probably our friendly rats ) didnt sleep very well at night incase they came visiting .On top of all that, the kettle that was supplied ,the lead was not long enough to plug onto the wall. we had to take the kettle to small hall and balance the kettle on the arm of the settee. Yes you wondered why we put up with the bad conditions, like I said we were committed to built the house and ther were no other accommodations nearby for our use. Looking around the "resort " facilties many of the places were not well maintained and paints were peeling etc. Some of the volunteers stayed in the dormitories where the facilities were just as bad . The shared facilties in the bathrooms, the sinks were blocked and just as dirty. One of the girls left a bun on her bunk bed and when she returned to her room later , the bun had moved to the other side of her bed with a hole and half eaten. I think most people put up with this type of problem because when you go to eco venture "hotel " you think that this is what is normal and accept it and for team building "we have to put up with it to be strong " hmm... We can put up with basic facilities but the place must be hygienic and clean and safe. I would not recommend this resort unless you are happy to 'rough it'.

Went for our company team building trip. Location wise, not too far from KL but opposite to a crematorium (Nirvana Memorial). The room, don't expect a 5,4 or 3 stars room standard, this is an outdoor adventure resort, but the inside of the room I was staying was clean. However, during night time lighting was poor and need to watch my steps as I was going out of my container room. There was an electrical wire dangling just a few steps of my room door and it was dangerous (China room). Please look into this. The food was good. The masks for paintball were HORRIBLE, could not see properly with it. The paintball marker was always out of gas. Their fleet of ATVs should be replace with better ones. Got big pool for water polo. The jungle trekking was the best part of our trip. Please remember, this is an outdoor adventure resort, don't expect too high for the room and food. Just enjoy the outdoor activities and have fun and get dirty.

Booked a VIP Container Room on Merdeka Day. Upon arrival, the resort looked empty so we thought we had better chance of enjoying the place with stress free. Unfortunately, there were no one managing all the facilities as per stated in their website - fishing, cycling, canoeing and etc. It feels like a dead resort. The front desk was a Bangladesh gentlemen. Gave us the wrong room - a standard when i asked for a VIP. Immediately they change the room but to our surprise there were no extra bed He told me we were to share the blankets and pillows. What is this.... i paid for 4 person room and we need to share pillows (2 big pillows and 2 small pillows) + 2 blankets. So we ended up sharing blankets. The room was dusty and covered with cobwebs. Bet there were no house keeping at all. All facilities were closed so we did nothing at the resort. The following day, my daughter wanted to try fishing so i asked if we can rent the fishing hook. I paid and went off to get some fish feed. Upon arrival to their so-called 'cafe' - the lady told me there was no bread left. "sigh....what is this..." So i returned to the front desk and asked for my refund. The Bangladesh gentlemen told me if you can wait till the Thai restaurant open they will have bread to sell to you. I told him....that i am checking out in 2 hours and you want me to wait for another 2 hours? So i insisted on my refund and we checked out. The only place that we find that our children thoroughly enjoyed is actually the CHICKABOO - THE OSTRICH FARM. We got to meet the famous Ostrich that jumped off and ran on the highway. Also, to try local food - Pan Mee (Flat Noodles) with Yong Tau Foo and nice hakka dishes.
