A standard no-frills hotel that does not serve breakfast. Simply cross the street to the stores on the other side for breakfast. It gives off the vibe of living in a retail mall. Feels like a quiet, empty mall. Wifi works on the main floor, but not in the 'loft rooms,' where the connection is weak. To get good coverage, you must get close to the door. Simple amenities and housekeeping are provided.

Stayed here in mid February 2020 this is my first time staying at this hotel.
For me the room was clean and decent , air conditioner was ok, staff was friendly and accommodating. But the down fall were:- i) I got a room with staircase without prior notice from reception staff. Would be more appreciate if staff could kindly asked me whether i can accept such room. I do have a knee problem so going up those stairs were painful for me. 2) The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working.

Hotel is very near to the highway. Exit Bangi/UKM highway. Parking basement is free and you also can park outside the hotel free. Room was spacious for 5 of us with 1 queen bed & 1 single bed. Walking distance to a shopping mall & a hospital soon. 3 star hotel with 4 star comfort. Will come back for quality time with family. Tips-book through their website to get the best price

From the outside, this building looks good. But once you enter, you'll see a weird shopping mall-like interior with dark corridors. It's dark even in the morning, but the lights are off around 8pm leaving the corridors really dark. It has an eerie atmosphere like an abandoned building. Reception is closed from midnight to 8am and the building is extremely quiet.
The balcony has short walls on both sides, your neighbors can easily jump into your balcony and you can clearly see inside your neighbor's room. The night I stayed there, I saw no lights in other rooms on the entire floor. Lots of empty rooms. I spent one terrifying night being scared of both the balcony and the corridor.
You must make sure that both your front door and balcony sliding door are locked the whole time there, there's even a warning sign inside the room to keep the balcony door locked.
If you'll be staying alone, especially for female travelers, I highly suggest to skip this hotel.

Stay for 2 nights here for work purpose. This is a new-built hotel which some part of it is still under construction. Room was clean and OK. Walking distance to bangi gateway and near to UKM. Staff was warm & helpful.

My Experience Was 1 From 5. I’m Already Booking By OTA Online. Get Comfirmation And Happy. On The Way And Will ETA 1 Hour But Try To Call Property But Nobody Pick Up. 1 Hour 30 Minute KEEP CALLING CALL But Still Can’t Get It. I’m Really Upset. Can’t Brain How This Happen. Booked 2 One Bedroom suites for one night for a family of 7 including 2 elderly parents. Check in was smooth. Rooms were located at 6th floor and they were so super spacious, clean, comfy and the view was amazing. Shower gels, shampoo and toothbrushes were provided. There's mini fridge & ironing board too. The muslim prayer mat was also provided. Wifi was strong.
Each suite has 2 bathrooms/showers near the living room. It would have been fantastic if the hotel management can invest on fixing some grab bars for handicap/elderly visitors in their toilets.
On Saturday night, there was a number of pop up food stalls at the parking lot space. Fantastic variety of food. But the downside was, their live band played songs till past midnight. We couldn't sleep well.
No breakfast provided from the hotel. So we head to a restaurant in front of the hotel. They sell nasi lemak, roti canai, fried rice/noodles, soto ayam..etc.
In all, this hotel is so accessibly very near to the highway and hope they can maintain the cleanliness that we had experienced.

I’ve booked a Premier King Room in Sherwood Gateway Hotel using Expedia.com. It is a very spacious room with a king size bed, a 2+1 sofa and a dining table for 4 person. The room was clean & new. The hotel also strategically located just beside the Bangi Gateway Shopping mall & near the Bangi toll plaza. I really hope that Sherwood Hotel can maintain their good price and good service.

price was cheap and the room was premium.. it's big and have lots of space.. the view was nice and the location was strategic; to Bangi Gateway and eating shops.. plus with friendly staffs.. tq for the stay .

I stayed a few times at this hotel recently. It is a new property which is situated close to the Plus Highway Bangi exit and next to the Bangi Gateway shopping mall. There's lots of options for eateries and other amenities nearby. There is also a convenience shop next to the hotel lobby.
The hotel is very clean and quiet but pretty basic. The room is spacious especially if you traveling in a big group. and I find the staff very friendly. The price is reasonable and probably one of the most comfortable budget hotel in Bandar Baru Bangi. Be on the lookout for good offers on hotel or travel booking sites. Will definitely come and stay here again next time.
