The 33 South owner and staff are wonderful. They really make you feel at home and there is always a warm welcome. There is a lovely little outside bar where you can enjoy drinks in the evening. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. This is the perfect spot to explore all parts of Cape Town. Obs itself is a...

As per the heading really. Not in the city centre but still in a good area near some cool cafes and restaurants. And it wasn't to expensive to catch an Uber into the city. Would recommend it to friends.

One of the best experiences I've had in any hostel in terms of the vibe and people I met - those working at the hostel and also South Africans and foreigners staying there. Good place to meet locals and base to explore Obs. Close to many restaurants and bars. Very relaxed and friendly and cheerful, and cheap decent wine.

Great spot in the boho neighborhood of obz. Quiet street and secure. Easy to get to by public transport from city center. Rooms are clean and layout of house has calming energy. Spacious kitchen and good braai spot out back. Staff courteous and engaged. Wicked happy hour! Highly recommended

Everything was nice. There are many bars nearby and a supermarket where we can buy prepaires food. The staff is good, the bathrooms are very cleaned. The neighbood is good. Is near downtown so we can try to use the crowded mini taxi bus to go and return from downtown.

The service I experienced was warmly and made me feel at home. The room was of excellent standard I had an issue with parking as there is no dedicated parking spots and in the street it is first come first serve. If maybe a certain area of parking be marked out just for guest.

An awesome backpackers. Obz is likely CT's best suburb. Sure... the mountain/Waterfront are 10 mins by taxi/train, but Muiz'berg, Simonstown, Kirst'bosch, and Claremont are all easier to reach via Obz. The vibe is laid back and friendly. Slightly more hipster compared to the city, but also more personable and interesting. 33 South was great. The people, the place, and the...

I stayed here over new years with a group of friends. The hostel is located in Observatory which is around a 15 minute Uber ride from the city center and the same to waterfront and most important locations in the city. There is a supermarket a couple of minutes walking distance, which is pretty convenient. There is a shared kitchen...
