Super unique place with a great vibe. You'll meet amazing people here from volunteers to backpackers passing by. If you're not going to Saltycrax as a part of the volunteer program, I would definitely ask someone about it. It's absolutely incredible. If you're looking for a 1bd/1ba ensuite, request the room "Chris"

I spent a total of 4 weeks at SaltyCrax as a volunteer. It was absolutely amazing from the second I stepped in. All of the staff and the other people that were staying there made me feel at home right from the start. I have a peanut allergy and was really nervous about eating the dinners as well as sharing...

Best people, awesome vibe. Stayed for 2 weeks and all I did was sleep, which is all you do when you're a DJ. The guys are just the best. Thank you so much for having me and making me feel comfortable!

I have three little comments: the shower drain needs cleaning since in no time you were standing in a puddle, they need to...

The breakfast is perfect and they have the best pizzas in town as well! Rooms very clean and have everything you need. The terrace bar closes...

The accommodation met out needs adequately and the staff were helpful, friendly and effective in their jobs. Needing attention - the shower drain was slow running and the water in shower backup quite badly The other guest were very noisy quite late into the night. However, it is a BackPackers and young exuberant people are expected to be in occupation....

Staying here has been great. Clean facilities, hot showers and a decent bar with a good vibe. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating! Walking distance to the waterfront however a taxi ride away from the main part of town.
