We have been in this lovely guesthouse many times. Upstairs rooms are beautiful, very spacious, breakfast is excellent, staff friendly and very helpful. The area is safe and quiet. An ideal place in Cape Town.

We spent several nights at Medindi Manor while visiting relatives in the area and found it to be a most welcoming place with helpful and warm staff. We were upgraded to one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in ,great bed, balcony and Victorian bath in the bedroom. The breakfast was excellent Would highly recommend

I stayed here for 3 nights and I think it was not as good as I remembered. I had stayed here a few times before, last time being in 2013. Back then this place was outstanding. The room was still good, with comfortable beds. However, it was not as clean, especially the bathroom. Those cleaners are not doing a good...

We booked a downstairs twin overlooking the driveway but discovered that this is one of the few rooms with airconditioning - very necessary in the heatwave we had over our weekend! Other guests in upstairs rooms had their own verandah and great view but were sweltering. The staff are very warm and welcoming without being too bouncy and interfering. There...

Perfect in every way. We were in a spacious garden room with a lovely big comfortable bed, plenty of storage, and our own little terrace. The garden was beautiful, full of flowers and lots of grass around the pool area. Pool was perfect for cooling off after a day's sightseeing, or a long day watching cricket. Breakfast was delicious, we...

I stumbled across Medindi Manor by accident on the Internet - and what a serendipitous find. My wife and I spent three glorious nights here, being pampered and relaxing in the most beautiful surroundings. It's quiet, but close to major access routes. The house itself was built in 1903, and offers all the modern comforts you could wish for with...

A friend recommended the Medindi Manor for me. I was not disappointed at all. The staff are helpful and polite. Conveniently located, near town shopping malls, and other places like UCT. Found it quite ideal. Looking forward to being back there.
