We stayed here on the camping field. We have a really large tent so booked 2 pitches great value. I chose this site as I had read several reviews and they were all right. The owners and workers in the pub/ restaurant were all very nice and very helpful nothing was any trouble, the facilities were always very clean and...

We glamped at Ruehill campsite close by and ate dinner here the first night. The food is really tasty, cheap and the staff are so nice and helpful. We ended up eating breakfast here both mornings and it really cannot fault it. If we stay in the area again we will definitely be back and may be even stay at...

My family and I have just returned from a short break at the cross inn and I have to say how friendly and helpful the owners and staff were, nothing was too much trouble for them. We had car trouble and everyone really put themselves out to help us. We had a family room which was lovely and clean. The...

Arrived at hotel early evening after a very busy day at Alton Towers. Had a lovely welcome. Very friendly staff. We had booked a table for food at 8.00 and was asked if we could give our order straight away because they were very busy. We were then shown to our room and it pretty much went downhill from there....

Stayed here 1 night while visiting Alton towers theme park. It was a very basic room and perhaps a little over priced, but it' was expected due to the close proximity to Alton towers. Lovely owners very welcoming. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area

Decided we wanted to see a bit of the Peak District. Location of The Cross Inn was nice a few miles from Leek and a few miles from Ashbourne. On arrival the staff member who took us to the tent area was nice and friendly. Showers were ok - 50p to have one is a bit cheeky considering we were...

The staff are very friendly and the home cooked food was nice with reasonable price and portion size was better than expected. The rooms were clean but looked old we stayed in a annex type building the beds were ok. There...

We stayed in the caravan, and I paid for 3 nights online but left after the first night. It was really awful and it is a testament to how awful it was that I would rather loose the money than stay another night. The caravan is OK, although the windows were dirty. But the site on which the caravan is...
