Hannah needs a star 🌟
We stayed here as a father, 2 daughters and granddaughter this week to visit the Trafford centre. Greeted by Hannah who went through everything with us and we paid for early check in which she did no problems, which we were so thankful for. Room 201 was allocated which I can honestly say is so quiet I have yet to hear anyone arriving or leaving the hotel the only noise I heard was a motorbike on the last morning but that was it in a 4 night stay! Cold room at times but they must know this as a heater was already in the room which when switched on heated up lovely! Perfect location for the Trafford centre or even Manchester we did both in our stay and can’t fault the location and even better parked our car and didn’t need to use it as used the tram and buses. Food we didn’t eat at the hotel as when booked we were told it was closed so had already made plans but upon arrival told it was the following week as things had changed although an email could’ve been sent out. All in all I’d defiantly stay again. Lovely hotel, Hannah was the only staff we saw upon arrival and she was great: had a lovely week and sad we had to leave

Perfect
We booked this hotel not knowing what to expect.
The hotel is one of the larger premier inns
We booked a premier plus room (not much price difference but worth it)
Room was much bigger, had a nespresso machine, tea, a fridge with complimentary water and 2 little chocolates (who doesn’t like abit of chocolate)
Bathroom was bigger too,so modern!
All staff were very friendly even tarkan (deputy hotel manager) took time out to speak to us!
Breakfast is mostly table service,we actually enjoyed this more,it was a very relaxing atmosphere!

They followed all government rules

Sleep.. the best nights sleep I’ve had at a premier inn

The hotel is under renovation but we didn’t notice any of this and we will be back!

This hotel is worth a stay, especially if your doing a shopping weekend at Trafford Centre,it’s literally across the road

Very Impressive
I have stayed in Premier inns for years and have always been pleased. This time I was distinctly impressed. Easy accessibility (from the motorway and to the Trafford Centre) free parking and a really friendly welcome from the staff were a great start. The Premier Plus room was a cut above the usual high standard of Premier Inn rooms, with a Nespresso coffee maker and fridge as well as the usual kettle and refreshment tray. Bottled water and mini chocolate bars were a great bonus. The walk in rainfall shower with high quality toiletries and fluffy white towels gave it the feel of a much more expensive hotel. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout with plenty of hand gel in the public areas.

When we left and the staff asked how our stay had been, it was obvious that they were genuinely interested in the answer.

We will certainly be back, and the small supplement for a Premier Plus room is well worth it.

Book a premier plusroom
Free parking on site.

Close to trafford centre and sports area (iFly, driving range, bike shop ect.)

Reception staff slow to assist you even when they can see you are waiting and they are not serving anyone else. I had a sky diving certificate in my hand and receptionist tried to take it off me thinking it was booking conformation.

Hotel lifts smelt and had sticky floors. Stains on corridors of non premier plus rooms.

Premier plus corridor was on the top floor in a quiet area and very clean and smelt nice. Did not notice that the hotel is being done up. Premier plus room was very also clean and modern. When in our room we felt like we were in a different hotel. Room had free shampoo, conditioner and soap. TV, fridge, coffee machine, hairdryer, water, chocolate and free internet included. It was £10 more to book this room compared to a standard and were were given a £5 drinks voucher each and free internet so this covered the cost. I would come back here again and book this room type.

Breakfast was poor. Dirty spoons and only a small amount of each food put out so we were waiting often for the food to be replaced. I would not have breakfast here again.
Jack the welcomer was polite and friendly though.

Hotel seemed popular with school trips and football club tours.

Checked in to the premier inn west, was greeted by a lovely lady who I unfortunately forgot her name . She had glasses and fair hair . So helpful and friendly she noticed I was on crutches and give us a room right near the lift which was so helpful. We didn't eat there so cannot comment on food. Checking out we saw another lady who again was so friendly. We stayed in room 116 was absolutely immaculate the price was so cheap definitely recommend anyone to stay and Trafford was 2 mins in the car . You could walk but I was unable to too as on crutches.

Great staff
We were going to a Convention at Bowlers and this seemed to be the closest hotel with an accessible room/bathroom. We arrived late evening so got a taxi from Manchester which wasn't cheap because of the distance but the taxi driver was very helpful and polite. It would have been much cheaper to get the Metro but we were not sure how close it was to the hotel. As it happened it was very close, just through the Trafford Centre across the road so we went back that way. The hotel was clean and the staff wonderful. I seemed to be forever asking for information/advice and they were really helpful. Breakfast and dinner were great. The breakfast staff were very helpful, and Naiana looked after us very well when we had an evening meal. I would certainlys stay there again.

Premier Inn Trafford Centre West - Premier Plus Room
Great location for Trafford Centre 5 to 8 minute walk from shops visited in December with wife for Christmas shopping.
Large free car parking and usual premier inn standard. Chose premier plus room for the first time and some nice features. Fridge, coffee machine and rainfall shower with good quality shower gel.
Friendly and helpful staff and hotel clean and tidy throughout.
Room only cleaned when requested which is a good idea, we stayed for three nights and room didn’t require cleaned in that time. However if you want toilet roll or new towels or the tea and coffee replenished then you need to request this at the reception. This is a big negative for me! A simple door card indicating what you require could be hung outside the door in the morning allowing staff to replenish or change items as required rather than having to go and ask at reception and walk through the hotel with toilet roll and towels! A bit more thought required here.
Also premier plus rooms have no drawer space which I found to be another negative!
Menu for evening meal in hotel was poor so didn’t use it and had breakfast each morning of our stay but quality of food and selection I found quite poor too which was disappointing.
Bar is connected to reception and often found just one person serving both which resulted in quite a long wait for service!
Would use again based on location and knowing what you are getting however a bit of thought and effort would have made this stay so much better!
Booked well in advance with flexible option to allow cancelling up to 1pm on day of arrival, way cheaper than booking last minute.

Nice hotel in good location. Breakfast experience could be slightly improved.
Stayed here for one night as a family of 4 in August.
We arrived at 3pm and a room was available for us despite check in not being until 4pm. The room was clean and very modern as a result of a recent refurbishment. The beds were made up for the kids when we arrived and there were ample towels (and spare cushions). The hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the Trafford Centre which involved crossing a couple of main roads via the traffic lights. We also visited the Chill Factor which was a 2 minute drive from the hotel.
The only reason I’ve given 4 stars and not 5 is because of the breakfast. It was buffet service but there was only one small hand sanitizer bottle in the whole serving area and it just didn’t feel hygienic from a COVID perspective, especially with loads of people handling the serving spoons etc. Maybe they could have had more hand sanitizers with a note requesting people clean their hands before handling serving spoons etc. Also there weren’t any hash brown much to the disappointment of my youngest daughter.
However apart from the breakfast this was an excellent stay and the hotel offered great value in the perfect location for the Trafford Centre. When next visiting the area we’ll definitely be returning to this hotel.

Would not reccomend
Stayed for 2 nights, staff did not look happy to welcome us on arrival. Not helpful at all, got to room, stains on the bed frame. There wasn’t the usual bedding present, although not a deal breaker gave the room a very unfinished look. No telephone to ring down to the reception so on needing some more towels I had to go down to the reception which was a massive inconvenience due to having a room on the 2nd floor and right at the end of building. The tv in the room was very poor quality, oversaturated so picture was hard to make out, but yet again I didn’t want to go all the way down to the reception to report this. Air con was very poor, we visited when the weather was around 27 degrees and the air con barely blew a breath of air out, never mind ventilate the Room. There was no complimentary water available, after having to buy a bottle of water from the main reception for £3.75!!! To be then told by the member of staff that the tap water in the room is drinkable. Overall the staff were very negative. And on checking out staff asked how the stay was, and I replied it was okay but not great and she replied that’s great to hear so clearly didn’t listen.

Would never stay here again, very disappointing stay, I always try to look for a positive but there really wasn’t one.

Options for airport transfer to hotel, taxi would be quickest option, pre booked. So price would depend on taxi company, phone them for latest prices. Last taxi from airport to Bolton was £50, one way, so use that as an initial price. Again for match day, phone and enquire.
