If you’re a Man Utd fan you couldn’t get a better location. We were on the 8th floor, facing onto the stadium. Good clean modern room. Car park is the other side of the main road. (The restaurant was pricey, and had a restricted menu.)

Embarked on a pilgrimage to Old Trafford to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. Once the trip was set, Hotel Football was the only choice for our team. Location is a corner kick from OT and the MUFC Class of 92 nets a hat trick with decor, setup, and vibe. But above all that goodness, the #1 reason for this 5 star review is Dawn Anderson. Dawn is the Groups and Reservations Agent at HF and she officially wins the Ballon d'Or for outstanding service. Dawn made our trip by taking personal care and attention with the room assignments, OT Tour tickets (and changes!), and coordinating birthday packages for my dad to truly make the experience special. She was prompt in her email comms and courteous in answering my many questions. You know you're in the right place when a portrait of ETH hangs above the lobby desk. Yet even more so, you know the trip will be a bucket list winner when Dawn is on the field. …

They would have got a five from me, but they overcharged me £10 for parking. My company organised the stay, including vehicle registrations. Parking to be used was next door, E2, at the stadium. I wasn't on the security lists, but they were expecting my company and I flashed my badge to be allowed in. At the hotel, I, along with many of my colleagues was obliged to pay £10 for parking. Then I asked for a receipt for it, so I could claim back the amount, to be told I could collect it in the morning. I expect to get receipts on the spot for a transaction. In the morning I had to queue, ask and wait for the receipt to be printed out, which could just as easily be done the day before. I found out that some of my colleagues had managed to get their payments reversed as the hotel realised they'd already paid for these in the booking. Actual stay was a really great experience. Really quiet (4th floor) facing the stadium, but couldn't hear noise from next door or people in the corridor. Dinner (as part of a conference group in the Players Lounge) and breakfast were great and so was the lunch on the second day as we had a team meeting in the Players Lounge.…

Stayed for business for two night. A very good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking for the hotel is not straight forward, it’s a bit complicated. Rooms are very spacious with complimentary gifts like shower gels, shampoo. There was also complimentary items within the fridge like water, Vimto, chocolate & sweets. Breakfast was fully stocked with cold buffet and a cooked option on request. There was a bar and restaurant available. The rooms have a view of the main road looking at the canal or on the other side of the not so delightful Manchester United stadium. Sorry but not a fan of the club lol. Overall the stay was very pleasant. Old Trafford stadium is within 30 seconds of the front door.,

Well if you like football you will love this football orientated hotel! The bedrooms are of a high standard, the beds are big and comfy, and the shower well, you could plan your next birthday party in it with a close friend or two. The staff have all been lovely and approachable, the restaurant is nice, the menu is fair and fairly priced, the Caesar salad was unfortunately the worst I’ve ever came across, I added chicken which had been sat in a very hot marinade which not only overwhelmed the salad but also my mouth, returned to kitchen. The breakfast was nice no complaints there. Over all I would recommend a stay as the accommodation is lovely and your are unlikely to be disappointed. The toiletries as awesome and the fridge is stalked with all sorts of treats. Enjoy!

Very clean and comfortable hotel, very professional reception and restaurant teams. Room very clean and well presented, complimentary mini bar (Bit disappointed to find it had crisps and sweets, not a can or two of beer) food on the evening (Steak) and breakfast very nice and served to the table. Cold buffet available. Car parking is off site and takes a little walk to get there. Views of Old Trafford from the restaurant and bedroom windows. As a Newcastle supporter it didn't put me off lol. Will certainly be staying there again.

Super hotel. Modern, clean, comfortable. A stones throw from Old Trafford, busy on match days but so convenient. Secure parking is just across the road. Every member of staff we encountered/spoke to was friendly and helpful. Although busy the staff were so efficient it didn’t feel like it was. The breakfast was perfect. Delicious and freshly cooked not like the buffet-style cooked food that is left to congeal for hours. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for a great time.

Couldn’t fault it, booked this for my partners birthday for a football themed bank holiday weekend, the rooms were lovely, spacious and of course very clean and maintained and the few staff we met seemed lovely. Nice easy check in when we arrived and we went for dinner in cafe football, the service was very quick and the food came out very hot and tasty so again can’t fault it. I booked a standard double room but asked if it was possible to be overlooking the stadium as we’re celebrating a birthday… the view was amazing from our room so thankyou for that! Would definitely recommend! :)
